Lorenzo's POV
"Sir, shall we head home?" Andrew turned to me. We just dropped Roseanne off at her office, which is just a small apartment in a building.
"Dad's manor, or my own?" I asked him.
"Whichever one you want that is, or we can go kill some time in a club." He looked at me with a knowing smile. Does this man know what he's saying, I'm engaged for goodness sake.
"Andrew, I'm engage." I closed my eyes, and let out a sigh. "I can't go out and fuck random girls anymore. But you could go if you really want to, I'll accompany you if it's really needed. We just have to be back in time to pick up Roseanne."
He rolled his eyes at me. "Since when did Mr. General stop playing around?"
"Since I was engaged, Andrew. Since I was engaged." I told him. He's my assistant, or rather my secretary, but we are great friends, always have been ever since we met in the academy. But he does know how to annoy me, a lot.
He scoffed. "Sure, but where would the fun be if I'm having fun all by myself. But Roseanne would probably be very unhappy if you do sleep around." He thought for a second. "How long will she stay in there?"
I shrugged. I mean how would I know. "Probably a couple of hours."
"Then let's go! Just to have a drink, to congratulate you for being engaged." He turned back to the steering wheel and smiled. "The almighty general is getting married! How exciting!"
I groaned. "Fine, Let's go then." And slumped back into my seat in the back, though it's not really easy to do considering that I'm still wearing my seatbelt.
He smiled and started the car, and off we go to the bar to have a drink. Hopefully I won't get drunk, I hope both of us won't get drunk. Who will drive if we did?
"But don't drink too much, you still need to drive." I told, more like telling him another order.
"Yes sir!" He replied joyfully. "I'll just order a drink with no alcohol. But you're another case, you could get drunk and I'm sure Roseanne will take care of you."
"Andrew, getting drunk isn't even fun. You feel horrible." I told him.
"That's because you don't have a reason to get drunk and have that much alcohol in your system." He replied back, I don't even know how this man is older than me.
I scoffed. "And you do?" I raised my brows at him, he just looked at me through the rear mirror. Like he ever actually has a reason to, he just drinks for fun.
"You'll never know, kid." I glared at him. Does he know that I'm basically his boss?
"Don't call me 'kid'." I said sternly. He only shrugged.
"I am older, you know."
"And I'm the general you work for, you know?" I tried to mimic his tone and rolled my eyes.
He scoffed again. "Cheeky brat." That's what I call my sister!
"I could tell you to fuck off, but I was told to respect my elders." I smirked.
He gasped dramatically while eyeing the road. "We are two years apart!"
"You're still older, aren't you?" I raised a brow. Yeah, he should remember to not call me a cheeky brat after this.
"We shall have a talk after we arrive." He frowned and turned his attention towards the road.
"You're drunk." Roseanne frowned once she saw me inside the car waiting for her. How funny. I'm not drunk, just sober.
