There is a one week time skip between chapters .
Sakuta: Rika I got a code name for you.
Rika still training shouts Stop thinking of stupid shit and train.
Sakuta stands up and says You wanna hear it or not?
Rika annoyed says Sure knock yourself out.
Sakuta: Crimson Cryogenic Queen. Personally I think it sounds badass.
Rika stops training for a moment and turns to Sakuta and says As people from your world would say; that's cringe.
Sakuta falls to his knees and looks at the ground and says You have any idea how long it took me to come up with that?
Sakuta stands back up to go pick up the journal and flips to the final step and says I think we've done enough training. Onto the next step. Sakuta reads it and says We need to come up with a contract that benefits us both and I also need to carve a circle into my left hand.
Rika: well we both want to kill Sosuke so there's our contract, but do you have to carve a circle into your hand?
Sakuta creates a shard ice blade and puts his bag's strap in his mouth and bites down on it and begins to carve the circle.
After Sakuta is done he says Clot the blood, Rika.
After the blood clotted Sakuta gets up and says Let's have a quick fight then return to the capital.
Rika gets up too and says I'm so gonna freeze your ass.
Sakuta: Don't use any of my blood and first to break the other's armor wins.
Rika: Shut up and fight.
Sakuta starts to create ice armor and an ice sword and says Let's dance.
Rika starts creating ice armor and an ice scythe and charges at him while saying You're so weird.
Both of them are evenly matched but Rika comes out on top.
Sakuta confused on how he lost, says You enjoy fighting to much. And then he sits down.
Rika starts to giggle and says It sucks to suck.
Sakuta picks up the journal and says There's still some stuff I need to look at in this.
Rika: Ain't that all of it?
Sakuta: There's still stuff about cursed spirit types, abilities and forms.
Rika confused asks Types?
Sakuta flips to cursed spirit types and says There are two different types of cursed spirits. The first ones are able to fight side by side with their host. These types have two draw backs them being if they fight the other type of cursed spirit or a human they mostly remain in their hosts body and the other is that the cursed spirit can't fight for long out of the host's body.
Rika confused asks Why would I have to remain inside you.
Sakuta: All cursed spirits are balanced. We are not as strong as the other type, but we are faster.
Rika: I guess that makes sense.
Sakuta continues to read for a second and says Most cursed spirits only have one unique ability, but some can have two. I guess we're special.
Rika curiously asks What about forms?
Sakuta: There's tethered demon which Molly told us about and something called a hatred overload Henkan Transformation.
Sakuta pauses and Rika asks him What's Henkan transformation?
Sakuta continues to stare at the page for a second and finally says The only thing written about it is that it never happens, only in myth.
Rika stands up and says we should get moving now and figure out how to hunt down Sosuke.
