There is a one year time jump.
Sakuta wakes up, turns over to his right side and stares at Rui.
Rui was woken up by his movement and says Good Morning.
Sakuta grins and says Good morning.
Rui gets out of bed and says Don't forget about the briefing today at noon.
Sakuta gets out of bed and says Yeah I know.
Rika comes out and says You also have a training session with Ivan in about 20 minutes.
Both Sakuta and Rui get dressed.
Rui kisses Sakuta goodbye and says See you at noon.
Sakuta walks out of his room and down the hall to Ivan's room.
Sakuta knocks and says Ivan, we have training in ten.
Ivan opens the door and says I'm ready now.
It then cuts to them outside in a field behind the manor.
Sakuta forms an ice sword and says Charge at me.
Ivan then charges and gets his legs taken out.
Sakuta helps him back up and says You got to harden faster, kid.
Ivan brushes himself off and says Again.
We get a montage of Ivan constantly getting his legs taken out and falling to the ground.
Sakuta shakes his head and says That's all we have time for right now.
Ivan gets up from off the ground and asks What, why?
Sakuta starts walking away and says There's a briefing in ten minutes.
Sakuta walks back into the manor and runs to Izumi.
Izumi holds up an envelope and says There's something serious to see after briefing.
Sakuta keeps walking and says Leave it on my desk.
We then cut to everyone in Lost Crimson inside the two rooms that are their base of operations, but now they are completely filled out with desks for everyone, boards to keep track of everything that happens and a lot more.
Sakuta walks up on stage in one of the rooms and starts his briefing I hope everyone's doing good today. As you know this is your day off, you can explore the capital if you want or stick around and do whatever. Tomorrow our budget goes up to 20,000 silver now, it only took a year. I just got one last thing to say now. You guys have came so far in just a year, all of our cursed spirit user are now officially bonded and everyone's just doing so great. You can go have your day off now. Later.
Everyone starts to leave, Sakuta gets off the stage, Rika comes out and says I can't believe we started just a year ago.
Sakuta: I can't believe we're actually able to make a difference in their lives, especially you. I mean they absolutely love you.
Rika says Whatever and goes back in Sakuta as he starts to go to his desk.
Sakuta sits down, grabs the envelope and opens it up.
There are three pictures.
The first is of Rui and on the back it reads She'll die.
Then there is a picture of Izumi and on the back it reads Come to Afrest.
And the last is a picture of a compound and on the back it reads You can't miss this place Sakuta. On the back of the envelope it says
