The chapter starts off with Sakuta waking up before Rui, he gets up from off the ground and starts his day by waking up Izumi.
Sakuta knocks on his door and says Izumi! Wake up!
Izumi opens the door and says Yeah I'm up.
Sakuta goes to the base of operations room and looks around for a little.
Sakuta think to himself There is way too much space in both of these rooms. I better get Rui up though
Sakuta goes back in his room to wake up Rui.
Sakuta goes over to his bed and says Rui, they're about to serve food.
He taps Rui on the shoulder for a little until she gets up and says Sorry, I'm up.
The three of them go to the dining room with food already on the table.
Izumi hits Sakuta's shoulder and says We really are living the high life, man.
Izumi takes a set and Rui continues to stick to Sakuta like glue even as they sit.
Catgirl 1: Master and Lady Arthur will be joining you soon.
Rika comes out and steals a bit of Sakuta's food then quickly goes back in him.
Sakuta mutters to himself You could have at least asked first.
Izumi laughs a little and asks So what's up with you two sharing the same room?
Sakuta takes a bite and says Mind your own business Izumi.
Touka comes into the room and yawns Good morning.
Jin follows behind Touka and asks How was your first night?
Sakuta takes a bite and says It's definitely hard to get used to.
Touka sits down and tells Rui don't forget to come to my room for your check up later today.
Rui takes a sip of water and says Yes Touka
Touka: You two got any plans today?
Sakuta finishes his food and says We're going to go recruiting.
Jin: Good luck.
Sakuta goes back to his room with Rui following closely behind him.
Sakuta enters his room, picks up his bag, pulls out the stack of papers Jin gave him and asks Do you want to tag along Rui?
Rui nods and Sakuta say Pack a bag, we'll leave after your check up.
Rui: Is Izumi not coming with us?
Sakuta shakes his head and says He has his own assignment for today.
The story cuts to Sakuta and Rui in the capital.
Sakuta looks around and whispers to Rui Remember this kid could be dangerous.
Rui nods.
They continue to walk through capital and Sakuta thinks to himself Rika hasn't been coming out a lot. I hope I didn't do anything to upset her.
They eventually stumble across a vacant tavern.
Sakuta forms an ice sword and says Stick with me no matter what.
They walk in and begin to investigate, Sakuta calls out Barry! We're here to help.
