Lakshmi is met with Shehnaaz's tear filled eyes as soon as she opens the door.
"Maa", She hugs her immediately allowing her tear to escape.
"Bas bas bas.. rona math warna aur bimaar ho jaaogi. Chalo andhar.." Lakshmi lovingly pats her back and encircles her arm around her shoulder to take her to her room.
Sidharth too enters the house and sits on the little couch while taking off his shoes.
"Ek minute.. jhoote uttar ke rack par rakhti hoon..", said Shehnaaz.
"Bas yahi uttar do.. woh haina tumhara secretary, woh rakh dega.. sirf comp-off lene ke liye thode hi tankha deti ho usse?", Lakshmi asks.
Shehnaaz chuckles while Sidharth rolls his eyes and picks up Shehnaaz's heels and places it on the rack.
"Secretary sirf office mein hoon..", he mumbles with a frown as they turn to leave.
"Mujhe sunaayi diya.. aur mujhe math sikha.. jab woh business trips aur meetings ke liye baahar jaati hai toh tu bhi jaata hai.. secretary sirf office mein.. huh!", His mom mimicks him while answering.
"Par woh business reason ke liye hota hai.. yaha kaunsa business chal raha hai?", He smirked being satisfied with his reply.
"Mr. Sidharth Malhotra.. maine kaunsa aapko instructions diya tha jo kal aap mere office mein rukhe raat bhar meri seva karne ke liye? Was that reason oficial?", Asked Shehnaaz.
"Aaaaa..", he opened his mouth only to ponder why? He gave up as he knew he can never win against these two ladies.
"Neki kar, dariyaan mein daal..", He says after finding the two ladies giggle and high five each other.
"Baiton.. ab batao kya hua tumhe?", Asks Lakshmi.
"Kuch nahi maa, thodha sa fever tha kal aur ab sarr dard kar raha hai..", said Shehnaaz.
"Hmmm.. let jaa.. I am happy ki finally, tumhe meri yaad toh aayi.. oh nahi rukho.. tumhe toh maine yaad dilaaya ki mein abhi zinda hoon..", complains Lakshmi.
"Maa, aisi baat nahi hai.. phone pe toh aapse baat karti thi na.. bas woh kaam bahut hota hai.. papa ke jaane ke baad mujhe bahut jyada mehnat karni padi..", she said emotionally.
"Arey, tu udaas math ho mera bachcha.. maine tujh mein aur Sidharth mein kabhi bhed nahi kiya.. tu aaya kar yaha.. meine tumhe bahut miss kiya.. phone pe jitni bhi baat kar lo, paas hone ka ehsaas nahi hota.. pata nahi log aaj kal long distance relationship kaise manage karte hai..", said Lakshmi which brought smile on Shehnaaz's face.
"Oye.. darwaaze ke peeche khadha khadha humari baate sunna band kar aur meri bahu ke liye chai le aa.. aur haan thodi adrak aur elaichi bhi koont kar daalna", said Lakshmi.
Shehnaaz put her head down on the mention of Bahu by Lakshmi while Sidharth facepalm for being caught red-handed by his mother on eavesdropping. He then realised that she called Shehnaaz bahu infront of her.
Arghhh.. yeh maa bhi na? Mere saamne toh bolti thi ab uske saamne hi bahu bol diya.. bhaavnao pe control nahi hai unka.. Rrrrr..
He grumpily made tea for Shehnaaz. He then tasted the tea before taking it back to her room.
"Itni dher kyu laga di? Tabele mein jaake bhais ko dhoke, doodh nikaalne ke baad chai bana ke le aaya kya?", Asked his mother. Shehnaaz giggled while he made a puppy face for embarrassing him in front of Shehnaaz.
"Mere liye?", Asked his mother
"Aapne sirf uske liye kaha tha.. toh maine sirf ek hi cup banaaya.", He said.
