Sidharth ran his eyes over the shelf while Shehnaaz bit her nails nervously.

"Woh wala dikhana please", said Sidharth pointing at the display.

"Huh?", She looked at him in shock and then nudged her elbow into his left side of the abdomen.

"Aaauuu.. kya hai moti?", He shrieked rubbing his left abdomen. She glared at him making him gulp in fear.

"M.. m.. mera matlab.. main bas.. puch raha tha.. kya hai?", He mumbled.

"Yahi sawaal mujhe tumse puchna hai.", She said.

"Matlab?", He asked confused.

"Tum kya sach mein anghuti le rahe ho?", She asked.

"Haan, do din mein engagement hai apni. Ring nahi lenge toh kya pehenaayege?", He asked her nonchalantly.

"Hum log yaha shaadi naam ke problem se bachne aaye hai. Tum toh sach ki shaadi ki taiyyari karne nikle ho.", She whispered.

"Arey, uske liye tum ho na.. tum plan A ki taiyyari karo aur main plan B ki kar raha hoon.", He whispered.

"Huh? Yeh kaunsa plan A hai jiska mujhe khudh nahi pata aur tumne koi plan B bhi banaya hai?", She asked puzzled.

"Plan A jo tum shaadi na karne ke liye sochogi.. aur agar plan A fail ho gaya toh maa ke liye shaadi toh karni padegi na? Toh main plan B matlab shaadi ki taiyyari kar raha hoon.", He said.

"Huh?", She looked at him stunned while he picked up the ring and inspected it.

"Wow!! Beautiful and Perfect!! Haat dikhaao. I hope yeh tumhaare size ki hi ho.", He said trying to hold her hand. She startles at his touch.

"What? Main tumse shaadi nahi kar rahi..", she said pulling her hand away from him.

"Tssscchhh.. Haan.. thik hai.. math karo.. par uske liye Plan A toh socho.. agar tumhari plan kaam kar gayi toh isse meri taraf se gift samajh lena.", He said slowly pulling her hand and sliding the ring into her finger.

"Huh?", She was lost looking at the ring in her slender finger which was held in his huge hand.

"Achchi hai na? Tumhe pasand aayi?", He asked adoring the ring in her finger. With those words her trance broke.

"Achcha? Gift? Aur uska kya? Wahaan maa jo mangalsutra ka designs select kar rahi hai, usse bhi gift samjhke gale mein pehen loon kya?", She asked pointing at Lakshmi on the other counter.

"Toh thik hai chalo, abhi maa ko sab bata dete hai..", he said with a frown.

"Argghhh.. tum.. sab tumhaari wajah se hua..", she glared at him.

He gulped in fear and looked to the other side. His eyes froze at the nose ring on the mannequin head.

"Shehnaaaaz, tum shaadi ke din nathni pehenogi na?", He asked in excitement while pointing at the nose ring. She looked at it and smiled at him sweetly.

"Zarur.. Aur Sidharth, tum mere liye kya pehenoge?", She asked sarcastically. His face twitched in disappointment.

"Phaansi ka phanda. Tumse shaadi karunga toh phaansi ka phanda pehene se kam hai kya? Nakchadi boss.", He muttered under his breath but she could still hear him as they were sitting next to each other.

"Huh? Naukri choddne ke baad se tum jyada nahi uchchal rahe?", She asked fake smiling while gritting her teeth which made him sweat nervously.

"Tumhe sunaayi diya kya? (She nodded her head in yes) Anghuti? Tumne mere liye anghuti select hi nahi kiya.", He said pointing at the male rings on the shelf. Running a gaze over the ring on her finger, she looked at the rings in display especially designed for men.
