Side Story 1

"Parker, can I hold the baby?" 

Parker looked at Drake then at the baby.

"Yes" 

Drake went over to hold the baby, he was gently taking the baby out his arms but the whole time Parker was antsy and looked as if they were kidnapping his baby. Drake was worried but Parker needs a break his clearly tired and hasn't gotten a proper sleep in two weeks.

Drake gently holds the baby in his arm looking at his sleeping face.

"Um…. D-don't shake him too much" he said stuttering 

"I won't" 

Parker looked at the baby, "um.. uh don't do that!" 

The baby was startled by the sudden shout and began to cry, Parker immediately took out the baby from his arms and started to hush the baby. 

"No worries mommy is here, his here don't cry" parker coo him while gently shaking him 

"Parker I can-" 

"It's okay Drake I can do this, I can handle the baby"

Drake sighed, the plan failed. 

Drake was now in his office, he ran his hand through his hair frustrated. He decided to meet up with Sharon and Louise hoping he could give some advice.

"I honestly don't know what's going on, I doubt he's even eating properly. The baby is his sole intention, even when I try to let him know I'm here" 

"Sounds like he has the baby blues" Louis said

"Baby blues?" Drake asked 

"Postpartum depression, it's generally something that happens during or after childbirth. Insomnia, anxiety, fatigue, weight loss/gain and depression everything checks out" Sharon said as he list the things on his fingers 

"Depression?" 

"Yeah, it's really a sensitive period after birth. It's supposed to last for about 6-8 weeks if dealt with correctly" Louis said 

"Like?" 

"Support is crucial of course, but I mostly can offer things to Parker. Considering this is was also an irritable time for him" Louis said, "even if it may be hard at times be patient with him Drake he's gonna wore himself eventually" 

Drake nods while listening to him.

Parker snapped his eyes open again and the baby started crying again, he picked him up from the crib shushing him.

"Waaaah waaaah waaaah" 

"Shhh shhh, heaven please can just be quiet for a moment" Parker was on the brink of tears 

He feels panicky everytime he puts him down and when he eventually does somewhat close his eyes, he is awoken by Heaven's tears. He doesn't want to feel like this but he can't help it. Heaven is a baby and he needs his mommy. 

William knocked on the door, "come in" Parker said.

William opened the door seeing Parker who was trying to hush the baby with a shaker. 

"Master Parker, would you like me to help?" William offers 

"No, no I got it cover" 

William looked at him, he really looked tired. He went over and put down a tray with fruity salad, "I think you need some nutrition" 

Parker looked at the food then back at the baby, "don't you think I've already gained enough weight?" 

"No, Parker Drake is worried about you. Chelsie is worried about you" 

"There is nothing to worry about, I'm fine really" Parker said, looking at the sleeping baby 

"Then how about you take some rest and leave the baby to Drake or I could take care of him for a couple of hours" William offers 

"No, no, Drake is busy with a big project can't stress him with our baby he needs to focus on work" parker excused 

"You think he's gonna focus on working with you like this?" William said 

"P-please can you just leave?" Parker said, getting agitated.

"B-but" 

"William, can you go!" Parker shouts

"Waaaah^___" 

Parker's eyebrows furrowed visibly upset, he turned to William. "Leave" 

William had no choice but to leave the room with the tired Parker.

Ling was watering the flower pot in the corner, when someone with a bouquet of roses smiled at him. Ling turned to see the man offering lavender roses, Ling raised a brow.

"How poetic" he said sarcastically 

"But it's true Ling, I may came on strong but please just give me a chance" he said 

"I'm sorry um…?" 

"Luther" 

"Luther, but I think I need a little more time and space before I think of dating anyone" he said walking away

Luther tailed behind him, "then you're saying if I wait you will give me a chance" he blushed.

"Um.. I Nev-" 

"Thank you, so accept my roses. I'll wait" 

He gently placed it in Ling's arms as he took the watering pot and went to the other corners watering the plant.

'What a puppy like man" Ling said stunned
