Today's a dry, sunny day. The complete opposite of the sorrowful deluge of water yesterday.
Nevertheless, I'm still reluctant to leave the house.
"Come on, Matsuda! Do we have to do this every single day?"
"Oi, I'm ill, alright? Do you want to draw a sickly man out to the sweltering rays of the sun before he could even recover?"
"Stop being stubborn already! Mitsuho, help me drag him out too!"
As always, I was dragged out by these two to get involved in their hijinks.
"What did we agree to do today, anyways?"
"We'll go to the cinema, we'll go fishing, we'll go..."
Long story short, it's a long day.

--At the cinema--
"No, don't do that! Dear Him, the car!"
"The seven hells! Is the premonition gonna come true after all?!"
"Wait, what's she doing there?!"
"Oh shit! Oh fuck! She's dead as hell!"
"Fufu, worry not! There's still time left for a deus ex machina!"
Luckily this movie isn't a premiere because now there's barely anyone besides us watching.
At least they're into it. I fairly enjoyed the original anime myself.
The ideas of quantum mechanics presented in the series are total bogus though.
Should have just used ol' reliable 'movie magic' instead.

--At the fishing stream--
"It's a big one I caught!"
"Ah, my fish looks so elegant and majestic."
"Woah, this one's scales have a radiant, heavenly glow..."
"Look at this! Its head looks like it could break stone from the Netherrealm with ease! Wait, nevermind. It doesn't seem like it has enough power."
"Mine's so cool! It looks like the embodiment of a perfect, imperishable phantasmagoria!"
I don't think that's a real sentence...
Whatever, while they're fussing over their fish, I'm sitting here, unable to catch any.
Maybe if I use this wonky-looking blue glowworm that Ryuko apparently found in a patch of mushrooms...

Hah? What kind of mutated abomination is this? It looks like a fish, pig and dragon hybrid...

It can fly?!?!?! And breathe water typhoons?!
Oh, and there it goes, back to the stream.
Just what the hell was that?!
I need to tell them about this discovery!
"Hey guys! Sorry to interrupt, but are you familiar with a type of fish which has wings, a pig snout and dragon fangs?"
Yui thought about it for a moment and gave an answer.
"Well, with such a strange, peculiar description, it must be the fish species Fishronosteichthyes."
