"Justin Bieber Christmas album." Sam said, holding up a CD as we gathered around him. "Best Christmas CD in the history of time."

"He doesn't look as much like a girl there," Jake whispered.

"Please, we are not singing another Justin Bieber song this Christmas!" Finn shouted.

"That ruins my plans." Travis muttered with a shrug.

"Okay, fine, you can sing a song by a guy that sounds like a girl, but everyone else is banned." Finn said, pointing around the room.

"Why?" Everyone asked in a whimper, before Sam started whining. "Because Justin Bieber sucks!"

"Justin Bieber doesn't suck!" I shouted. Sam put his hand out for a high-five, and I did so.

"This whole room feels to me like it's on drugs." Jake whispered to me.

"Agreed," I chuckled, winking in his direction.

I was sitting in Maths, fiddling with my pen while the teacher talked - I was insanely bored with whatever we were learning. Jake and I normally had maths together, but he had dissappeared into thin air.

Suddenly, the door to the classroom opened. Jake was standing there, looking clueless. "Puckerman, you are thirty minutes late." The teacher said. I laughed and shook my head as he came an sat next to me.

"Where were you?" I whispered.

"I was in the bathroom," he shrugged, looking at the table.

"Doing?"

"I was constipated!" He whispered to me. I laughed and looked back at my exercise book, shaking my head. "Look, it's Christmas time, my Mom's been trying out new foods for Christmas and, you know, they're not good for me and my bowels."

"What'd she cook last night?"

"Um, it was like chewing flipflops - camel." Jake nodded, writing something down in his book.

"You ate camel? Gross!" The classroom went completely silent after I pracitcally shouted that out to the class. "Sorry," I laughed, looking over at an embarrased Jake.

"Let's change the subject." I said. Jake agreed before there was a moment of awkward silence between us. "Let's talk about..."  I trailed off, hitting the pen against the desk.

"Maths! What's the answer for question two?" I rolled my eyes and tossed my book to him. He sat there, copying down the whole page while I waited for him to give back my book.

When I got it back, there was a message scrawled in the corner of the page:

Marley,

Merry early Christmas, and may it be the best Christmas ever.

I know it will be ;)

Jake xx

I smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks," I smiled. "But how do you know it'll be the best Christmas ever?"

"Because we will go out for a Glee club dinner on Christmas eve - with every other member." Jake smiled.

"Oh, that sounds like fun," I smiled. It beats what I was going to do on Christmas Eve - mope about the previous year where I was at Ryder's and think about how we sat in the park together and were just... happy.

"Well, we are going to have the best Glee Christmas ever."

At Glee club that afternoon, Jake was organising the dinner at Breadstix on Christmas eve, while Angie and I threw the spare tinsel at each other.
