I sat in Glee club the next morning, going through my sheet music while Angie and Jake practiced with each other. We were the only 3 in room, and that just made Angie and Jake go even crazier with each other.
"No, the foot there, you idiot. You do ballet, you should know this." Angie smiled at Jake, pointing behind him.
"How's it meant to go that far?" Jake asked quietly, looking behind him, his arms wrapped around Angie's back.
"It's possible." Angie smiled.
"No." Jake shook his head as Angie laughed at him, leaning her face onto his shoulder.
"We'll edit it then; I put my foot there and lean back instead." She said, now practically lying down on the ground, but Jake was holding her up.
"Young love." I sighed, before going back to my sheet music and smiling down at my dotted skirt.
"Uh," Angie pulled herself up from Jake. "We're not... we're not in love." She stuttered. Jake said the exact same thing over the top of her, making their sentences sound like nonsense.
"Sure." I said sarcastically.
"Marley, we're-we're not in love - we're not even dating, dude. We're friends." Jake stuttered, looking over to Angie.
"Whatever makes you happy." I grinned and winked at him.
"She's crazy." Angie laughed, before gripping onto Jake and making him dance with her again. They reminded me so much of Ryder and I - the innocent girl who was bullied and the boy who was strong and could overcome anything and help people overcome things.
I watched the two dance for a while - Jake slipping up, but Angie aceing the dance. And she thought she couldn't dance.
Minutes later, Finn and Mr. Schue walked in with everyone in tow, and they watched Angie and Jake do the most complicated move Finn choreographed so far, which was where Angie had to jump onto Jake's chest and curling her legs around his chest, before falling back and completely relying on Jake to keep her up. "Oh my god." I said with a smile.
"That was too cool." Joe said, walking past Jake and Angie, who were now hugging.
"And this confirms that Angie and Jake should have the dance lead." Travis smiled.
"Marley, are you going to sing now or after school?" Finn asked, smiling widely.
"After."
Minutes later, the bell rang and Finn pulled me back into the room. "What song are you singing this afternoon?" He was too excited about this - I think he might have been turning into Mr. Schue.
"Always Be My Baby." I grinned.
"Can't wait to hear it." He smiled, releasing me into the corridor.

When I walked into Glee club, I saw Angie and Jake practicing again, thier faces almost touching like they were going to kiss. "And I was correct," I whispered, coming in and sitting down in my special seat.
"Back leg." Angie grinned, pointing at Jake's leg.
"Oh, okay." He mumbled dumbly, smiling at Angie. He was being such a ditz around her lately, and I wondered where the real Jake had gone.
Before the could do anything more, Kitty walked in with Joe. "Oh, lovely." She smiled, sitting down. They stopped dancing and took their seats. I could see they were having eyesex with each other, but the other was oblivious.
"Marley!" Finn shouted loudly, walking into the room and pointing at me.
"Yes, sir." I smiled, giving him a salute. I stood and walked over to the band, handing them the music to Always Be My Baby.
