School's pretty boring in my opinion. Classes, learning stuff I've already learnt, but the thing that makes school enjoyable for me is my friends.
They've made my school year better than any others, and even though I'm still kind of being bullied, it's not as bad because I have friends who are going through the same thing.
Although I smelt like slushie, had a big red stain on my blue shirt and jacket and my hair was sticky, I still felt awesome and proud. Glee club changed me. Glee club made me feel better about myself, like I was good at something in my life, and they helped me get over my bulimia and made me feel so much better than I ever have.
And Glee club also helped me find the best boyfriend in the world; if I hadn't have joined Glee club, I wouldn't have had the guts to audition for the musical, and Ryder would have no excuse to come talk to me.
In a few words; Glee club rocks.
Sure, other people are skeptical about it... throwing slushies at me, calling me a "Glee Loser" and things like that, but they don't know the true magic of music.
When I walked into Glee club, I immediatley felt worthy and wanted. Jake signalled me over to him, pointing to the seat in front of him. I sat there, listening in to Angie and Jake's conversation; which song was better? Did they go at this all the time? I swear they do it just as an excuse to talk to each other.
How they acted around each other reminded me of Ryder and I. The constant eye contact and the way they looked at each other made me just think of Ryder.
I knew I shouldn't be acting like this; like a wuss, but I couldn't help it. I love him and I miss him.
"Okay, guys!" Mr. Schue called, walking into the room. "Anyone have their favourite song to perform?" I stuck up my hand, smiling. Mr. Schue called me up.
I walked to the band, telling them my song before walking to the middle and briefing my song: "So, I found this song because of Ryder, and I didn't like it at first, but now I do because I can relate to it a lot, so enjoy." I smiled, pointing to the band as the soft music began to play:
Marley:
You said it in a simple way,
4 AM, the second day,
How strange that I don't know you at all.
Stumbled through the long goodbye,
One last kiss, then catch your flight,
Right when I was just about to fall
I told myself don't get attached,
But in my mind I play it back,
Spinning faster than the plane that took you...
Taylor Swift reminded me of Ryder. And this song reminded me even more of him, bringing back every memory we ever shared. I just wanted to spend the rest of my life with Ryder.
And this is when the feeling sinks in,
I don't wanna miss you like this,
Come back... be here, come back... be here.
I guess you're in New York today,
I don't wanna need you this way,
Come back... be here, come back... be here.
The delicate beginning rush,
The feeling you can know so much,
Without knowing anything at all.
