Weekends are some of my favourite parts of the week; no school, Ryder's free and so am I, so we get to talk all the time and that is one thing that makes me feel happy.
Although I would try and talk to him everyday, he would most likely be busy, or I'd be busy. It sucked, but we'd always catch up. It was a couple of days to the weekened, but it wasn't too far away.
I was sitting in the choir room with Jake, and he blabbed on about a game of COD he had played last night - it seems that's the only game boys like to play. "Then Sam was throwing grenades at me and Artie ran in front of me and we both blew up." Jake laughed. I laughed lightly, only hearing that part of his story.
"I bet you get bored of COD a bit, right?" Jake asked.
"Yeah," I nodded with a laugh.
"Sorry." He said with a frown.
"Nah, it's kind of interesting to hear how you blew people up."
"Oh, okay, well, I blew up Ryder once and he went into like, a million pieces." I had a sudden vision of Ryder getting pissed off about being killed and swearing at the TV. I giggled quietly, tossing my hair behind my ear. "Hell, yeah, it was funny. He was screaming at me and I was just laughing." Jake chuckled. I smiled at him as Angie came into the room with Kitty on her trail.
"Kitty's been annoying me the whole way to school." She whispered, sitting down next to me. "She keeps on calling me bi-curious, and I'm not too sure how she actually found out-" Angie smiled and stopped talking for a moment. "I know what she means, but let me ask how?" She kept on asking how as we all stared at her. I think I was the only one who got what she was saying, because Jake had that "What?" look on his face. Maybe Kitty had a faint idea, but I knew it all.
"I officially dislike her now. Never again." Angie whispered, shaking her head. I laughed and crossed my legs, staring at them.
"I was just telling Marley how Sam blew me and Artie up last night." Jake told Angie.
"Oh, do tell," She laughed, turning around to face him.
I giggled and pulled my phone out, looking at random pictures on my phone. Most of them were random cute animals, but the rest were ones Ryder had posted on Facebook and I just downloaded them.
"Marls!" Jake pushed my side.
"What, sorry?" I said, lifting my head.
"You kind of looked like the girl from The Ring or something." Jake laughed.
"Charming." I giggled, rolling my eyes. "You could totally pick up a girl with that."
"I could," Jake laughed.
"You totally could," Angie agreed, shaking her head.
"See. A girl likes my thinking. I'm a genius." He said, pointing to Angie. She only agrees with you because she's madly in love, I thought, laughing at myself. "What?" Jake said.
"Nothing,"
Minutes later, everyone was gathered in the room, blabbing on about stuff while I sat there, silently and awkwardly.
Finn came in minutes later, sitting on the piano staring at everyone. Angie and Jake were talking over me, the others were having a comversation at the back, and I was just lonely.
I caught Finn's gaze at one point, and he mouthed to me, "Are you okay?" I nodded, shaking my head afterwards to tell him he doesn't need to worry. Finn shook his head, signalling towards him for me to stand. I sighed and stood, and Jake and Angie didn't seem to notice. I sighed again and sat on the piano next to him. "Are you sure you're okay?"
