"Hurry up!" Ryder knocked on my door repeatedly as I was getting dressed.
"In a minute!" I yelled, putting on my flats and checking myself in the mirror - making sure my hair looked fine. I smiled and opened the door to my room, finding Ryder on the floor. "What?" I said, looking at him.
"You took so long that I died." He smiled before standing up. I hit him lightly on the back before walking down the hall and to the lounge room.
"Mom, I'm staying with Ryder and his parents tonight in their hotel." I grinned, holding onto Ryder's hand.
"Oh, okay." Mom smiled sadly.
I walked forward, giving her a hug. "See you tomorrow," I smiled, kissing her cheek.
"Bye," She said to me and Ryder. I walked out of the house with Ryder and we walked down the street in the freezing cold air. Ryder kept me under his arm to keep me warm because my cardigan was doing absolutely nothing, and neither were the knee-high socks.
"First, dinner at Breadstix, then we will go to that hotel and I will give you my Christmas present." He smirked, whispering in my ear. I smiled and kissed his cheek, grabbing his hand that was over my shoulder.
"This'll be the best Christmas ever." Ryder whispered. "Trust me."
"I think it will be, Ryder - definetely."

Ryder and I were sitting at Breadstix, eating a bowl of spaghetti each. We were talking about everything and anything that we neglected to mention while we were talking on Skype.
Our hands were joined over the table and my feet were lightly sitting on top of Ryder's Converse. "Have you ever wanted to do that thing from Lady and The Tramp?" I asked, wrapping some spaghtetti around my fork.
"What?" Ryder said, meeting my eyes. "Turn into a dog and eat outside of the restraunt?"
I giggled and shook my head. "No, the spaghetti."
Ryder nodded with a smirk. "I tried doing that once, with my first girlfriend." Ryder shrugged.
"Really?" I said, coughing slightly because I felt kind of awkward talking about his first girlfriend.
"It failed, but I'd like to try again." Ryder grinned, wrapping some spaghetti on his fork. He held out the fork to me, telling me to take one end. I did so and he unravelled the other end, taking it in his mouth.
We slowly moved closer to each other and our lips met on either end of the spaghetti. I bit through the spaghetti and smiled at Ryder. "That succeeded." He chuckled.
"It did - dream achieved." I giggled.
Ryder shook his head and laughed at me. "You know what my next dream is?"
I smiled. "What?"
"To marry you, of course, Mar." Ryder gave my hand a squeeze, and I felt my cheeks go bright red.
"Well, that's my dream too." I smiled, leaning over the table and giving Ryder a soft kiss on the lips.
"Well, isn't this cute?" I heard Kitty say, coming up to our table. Her hair was out and dangling over her left shoulder. She wore a red dress with a black belt, paired with some boots. Her hair had a red headband and her hand was pursed on her hip, as always. "Jumbo, Dumbo," she greeted with her casual smirk.
"Kitty?" Her Mom was calling from another table.
"Talking to friends," She shouted before turning back to us. "What brings you back here, Dumbo The Elephant?"
