"About that panic attack yesterday-" I began, taking a seat on Angie's messed up bed. She was lying in there, wearing one of the new jacket's Mom had bought her. She groaned and fell onto her pillow.
"Can we not talk about it, please? I already feel crappy enough." She mumbled, playing with the top of the white doona cover.
I sighed and rubbed my forehead. "I just want to see if my theory was right," I told her before she sat up again and stared right at me, her curls standing up.
"Go," she nodded, giving me a suspicious look.
"So, when I went on stage, I saw this guy in the audience and I recognised him; when I was at the shopping centre months back, I saw you with that guy there, and I think that you saw him and you panicked." I nodded.
"He scares me, Marls," Angie whispered, twirling her hair around her finger nervously. She looked like a scared child.
"So you were panicking about him?" I asked.
She nodded and looked at the ground. "I... I just thought he was going to-" Angie was stuttering too much to even finish her sentence. She was waving her hands around, staring at the rug on the ground.
"Hey," Jake smiled, poking his head into the room.
"Hi," Angie's eyes brightened at the sight of him.
"I should go," I laughed, escaping the room before they started chatting. I walked into my room and pulled out my phone as I sat down on my bed.
Me: Babe, can you talk now? I honestly don't feel like listening to Jake and Angie talk :P xx
I sent my message and rolled around on my bed before I actually got a reply.
Ryder: Can't homework, sorry xx
I sighed and stuffed my head into my doona cover, feeling some kind of emptiness inside of me. I restlessly rolled around on my bed, singing quietly to myself to ignore Jake and Angie in the next room.

When I walked into Glee club on Monday, the atmosphere was how it used to be - homely.
I sat down out the front of the room, next to Angie, who had a proper smile on her face - I was guessing it's because Jake was sitting behind, holding her shoulder's lightly while she leaned her head into his chest... now I was kind of wishing that Ryder was behind me, doing the same thing.
Finn walked in with a large smile on his face, carrying in the Regionals trophy. Everyone in the room cheered and clapped, with the exclusion of Kitty, who was bragging about her amazing solo.
"This is a pretty big achievement for you." Finn said with a smile. "We came second last year and now we're on out way to Nationals!" Finn's statement was greeted with another round of cheers.
"Anyway, we need to start thinking of National songs." Finn smiled, putting the trophy to the side. "I'll put that away later." He smiled awkwardly, waving his hand.
He walked to the centre of the room and stayed silent before pointing at Jake. Jake stood, smiling at Angie and pulled a stool to the centre of the room with a smile.
He looked over to the band and nodded, but nothing happened. "Ange," he whispered quietly, nodding at her. He grinned before music started. "This is for you."
Jake:
White lips, pale face
