It was Saturday morning, the morning of the wedding, and I was waiting in the reception with Jake, Finn and Rachel as they tried to organise a room on the same floor with the other of the Glee club members. There were barely any of us staying in the hotel rooms - it was only the people whose parents couldn’t be bothered to come here at midnight to pick us up, or we didn’t want to go home.

“We’ve opened up two rooms.” The woman said, coming to us and giving all the details on a sheet of paper. We thanked her before she rushed away to go serve the other customers.

Finn and Rachel were walking whilst linking arms, not bothering about the fact the wedding was in less than an hour - thirty minutes to be exact.

Jake and I were the only non-official couple (other than Santana and Quinn) to be sharing a hotel room, and I had a feeling it was going to be awkward all night long.

Glee club was kind of awkward as soon as the Alumni came; there were so many people in the choir room that there wasn't enough chairs. Everyone scored spots next to their signifcant other and I was one of the couple left alone, having to sit next to a cudding couple, rubbing thier togetherness in my face.

Jake and I reached the hotel room in a matter of minutes. He unlocked the door quickly and dropped his bags on the ground as soon as the door opened a crack. He ran into the bathroom and locked the door.

I chuckled at him, taking this oppurtunity to get changed into my dress for the wedding. I pulled it out of my bag and smoothed it out before taking off my clothes in a rush. I was just hoping that Jake wouldn't come out of thier and see me semi-naked.

I pulled it on, struggling to get the zip on the back done up. I sighed, knowing I would need help to get it on me properly.

I shook my head and pulled on my shoes as Jake came out of the bathroom. "You're dressed already." He laughed, taking off his runners as he hovered over to his bag.

"Yep." I laughed, standing up and following him. "Could you help me?" I asked, moving my arm out of the way of the zip. Jake zipped it up and began talking to me.

"You look pretty right now." Jake told me. "Ryder would be going insane right now."

I laughed and shook my head lightly, combing my hair. "Thanks, Jake,"

"I'm telling the truth." He nodded with a smile. I blushed again, looking at the ground.

"Anyway, Jake," I said, turning around to face him as I put two little flower clips in my hair."Get dressed, we have to get going." I smiled, pushing his shoulder. "I'm going to stand in the bathroom while you get dressed"

"Okay," he sighed.

"You have to hurry our we'll be late."

After a really long wedding-  one that seemed to drag on for hours - we were finally at the party, which was bursting with people.

We had allocated seating, and on the table I was sharing with Jake and Angie, there was a spare seat, one that was allocated for Ryder last year, or so I liked to believe.

I had the feeling of lonliness again, but I tried my hardest to banish the lonely thoughts I was having and trying to enjoy the wedding, but I knew that when it came to dancing, I would not have a partner, and that I'd be stuck at this table all night until it came to performing.

Mr. Schue finished making a speech, which I was unsure he was having, before him and Ms. Pillsbury started dancing and Finn and Rachel sung We've Got Tonite. It was incredibly adorable and as they danced, I couldn't help but wonder what Ryder and I's first dance would be like once we had gotten married.
