Steve had never had a meal so good. His mother was an ok cook, but Rain? Wow!
Rain blushed when Steve told her, "It's just your basic stew. I got the recipe from my friend's mom in uni."
Bucky grinned, "Where's you go?"
Rain gathered up the dishes, "University of York in England. I studied library sciences."
Rain rinsed the dishes before loading the washer, "I always wanted to be a librarian."
Steve put the left overs in a storage container and passed the pot to Rain, "Why?"
She shrugged, "I like the order of it. The quiet simple aura of the older buildings. So many stories."
Rain blushed, "Silly I guess."
Steve took her still wet hands in his, "Not silly at all."
Rain looked down her voice quiet, "I'm dripping soapy water all over your floor."
Bucky passed a towel to Steve and leaned on the island smiling.
Steve slowly and softly dried her hands, "Rain..."
Rain raised her eyes and looked to Steve then Bucky, "I... I'm not very good at this sort of thing."
Steve could feel her hands start to tremble, "Rain we can go as slow as you want."
Bucky brushed back a lock of her hair, "You're worth it."
Rain bit her lower lip and stepped in into Steve's space and looked at Bucky.
Both men were still; not wanting to scare or rush the little rabbit as she boldly explored.
Rain's pulse raced. She she let go of one of Steve's hands and reached for one of Bucky's. She turned to face Steve who's eyes had gone dark with desire.
Rain slowly stood on tip toe and brushed her lips over his.
Steve wrapped his free hand around her pulling her closer, but still letting her set the pace.
Rain parted from him and looked at Bucky who had an all too pleased hungry smile. Rain blushed and pulled him closer into her and Steve.
Steve looked over to his friend and grinned.
Bucky bent his head and met Rain's kiss with a gentle eagerness as the hand not in Rain's wrapped around the opposite side of his friend.
Rain stood between them and felt as if she truly belonged there. She stepped back and smiled, "Did you guys want dessert?"
Steve and Bucky exchanged smiles, "Sure doll; what did you have in mind?"
