Then comes baby

Rain cried out again. Steve and Bucky supported her as they made their way to the couch.
Bucky mumbled, "The baby isn't due for 3 more weeks."
Bruce checked her, "Ok Rain you're in active labor, but only dilated to about a 2... We've plenty of time to get you to a hospital."
Rain shook her head, "I need to get married first!"
Steve chuckled, "Rain we can get married after..."
Foggy bounded in, "I called in an ambulance; it'll be here in 15mins."
Rain caught her breath, "Please... I want the baby to be born in wedlock..."
Ben came forward, "Alright speed round are you ready?"
Bucky and Steve helped Rain stand, "Ready."
Ben smiled, "Steve do you want to marry Rain?"
Steve grinned, "I do."
Ben chuckled, "Bucky do you want to marry Rain?"
Bucky smiled, "I do."
Ben shook his head, "And Rain are you sure you want to marry both these men?"
Rain nodded as a another contraction hit, "I do!"
Ben laughed, "Then by the power invested in by the city and state of New York I pronounce you wife and husbands!"
Rain wince as the contractions came and Bucky and Steve kissed her temples.
Wanda showed the EMTs in, "This way."
A seasoned paramedic looked over everything, "Ah... Only one of the husbands can ride with us."
Bucky patted Steve on the shoulder as they loaded her up, "Go with her I'll meet you there."
Steve nervous nodded and climbed in as the doors shut.
Pietro came up, "Let's go Poppa!"
Bucky smirked, "I'm going to be a dad! Let's go!"

Steve held Rain's hand as the wheeled her in, "You're doing great angel."
Rain had tears running down her cheeks, "Please... I... Oh it hurts... I can't..."
Steve looked up, "Can't she get something?"
A nurse looked over the chart notes from the EMTs, "I'll check with the doctor."
They transferred Rain to a hospital gurney and pushed her into a room as Bucky came round the corner of the hall, "Steve! Rain! Oh God I was afraid I'd miss it!"
Steve smiled, "Just in time."
Rain's doctor came into the room, "Ok Rain it looks like you're at a 4 so we can still get you the epidural."
Rain nodded, "Yes please!"
Steve was to her right and Bucky to her left.
Rain looked between them and panicked, "We don't have any names yet! The nursery isn't ready... I'm not ready!"
Steve kissed her hand, "We'll finish the nursery before you and baby come home."
Bucky kissed the top of her head, "We've got some ideas for names... Don't worry."
The nurse came in every few minutes to check her progress, "I think it's time. I'll get the doctor."
Rain tried breathing, "I want you both to know I will never have sex again!"
Both men laughed. Bucky kissed her hand, "I do not blame you."
Steve brushed back her hair, "You're doing great baby girl... Just hang in there."
The doctor came in and confirmed Rain was at a 10, "Alright Rain ready to push?"

The waiting room was full of people. Matt paced nervous, "Foggy is all the paper work for them set?"
Foggy looked up, "Yes. My sister filed it this morning before the ceremony."
Wanda fidgeted with her hands, "Do you think everything is ok? We haven't heard any updates."
Sara and Winnie grinned at each other as they finished up the receiving blanket. Winnie sighed, "It's her first; first babies always take their time. I was in labor for a whole day with James."
Sara nodded, "I remember. Steve was no picinic either. Poor thing was born blue. Doctors didn't think he'd make it, but he was a fighter."
Nat laid her head on Sam's shoulder, "Maybe one day we'll find out how this all feels."
Sam grinned, "Maybe? You finally gonna give us a chance?"
Nat grinned, "I am."
Sam sat back speechless and put his arm around her.

The doctor had Steve and Bucky each hold a leg of Rain's back to help her push, "Ok Rain... Give me another big push!"
Steve looked at his wife and mother of his child, "I see the head!"
Bucky laughed, "Holy hell look at all that hair!"
Rain grunted and bared down when suddenly a loud cry was heard; relief flooded her.
The doctor looked to both Steve and Bucky, "Ok... Dads do you want to do the honors?"
Both men nodded and cut the cord as the baby was put on Rain's chest, "Welcome to the world little one."
