Steve danced around the big room with Sara as she giggled. She had Rain's dark hair and bright blue eyes, "Who's the most beautiful girl?"
Sara cooed and clapped her hands.
Bucky chuckled as he walked in, "I thought little princess would be napping by now."
Steve passed his daughter to Bucky who tickled her, "I thought I could wear her out but she wore me out."
Bucky looked up and watched Steve flop on the couch, "Did ya wear daddy out?"
Sara smiled and clapped. Bucky chuckled, "Good thing papa is here huh?"
Bucky sat next to Steve who turned and watched Bucky start to read to their daughter, "Has Rain called yet?"
Bucky turned a page, "No. She said she'd be back by now."
Just then they heard the front door and Rain call out, "I'm home."
Sara excited jumped and scrambled off Bucky's lap and toddled off to meet Rain in the hall.
Steve and Bucky laughed following her.
Rain scooped up her daughter and gave her kisses, "There's my beautiful girl!"
Bucky then Steve each kissed Rain, "How was your girls' day?"
Rain smiled, "It was nice. Wanda brought Pietro's girlfriend Crystal; nice girl."
Sara wiggled out of her mother's arms and went about playing as her parents sat down.
Steve kissed her hand, "And..."
Bucky brushed Rain's cheek, "How did the doctor's appointment go?"
Rain tilted her head and took each of their hands in hers, "Well... It seems that the Rogers-Barnes clan will be growing sooner than expected..."
Both men grinned, "Really?"
Rain nodded. Steve kissed her, "Another baby?"
Bucky tossed his head back, "I knew it! Oh Rain..." He kissed her deeply, "Another baby."
Steve scooped Sara up, "Are you ready to be a big sister?"
Sara smiled and nodded her head.
Rain laughed, "I love both so much. Thank you for my world."
Steve kissed her cheek, "I think that's my and Bucky's line."
Bucky laughed, "I love you Rain drop."
Sara twisted in Steve's arm and reached for Rain and gave her mother a kiss, "Ma'ma LUV yoo."
Rain smiled happy with her life, "Love you too baby." Rain kissed Steve and Bucky, "Thank you both for showing me what love is. I love you both so much."
The family cuddled on the couch content and happy looking forward to the future.
