Rain woke up in a hospital bed. She looked around and saw Bucky and Steve leaning on each other asleep on a tiny love seat. She chuckled; turning her head she saw Matt sitting next to her in a chair.
Matt turned his head and whispered, "Sleeping beauty finally awake?"
Rain sighed, "Yeah... What happened?"
Matt sighed, "Well... You stepped in front of Bucky as Zemo pulled the trigger. Doctor said the bullet went in and out magically missing everything and just grazed your shoulder bone."
Rain looked over at her sleeping men and remembered a weird dream, "Did the doctor say anything about..."
Matt grinned, "Yeah... Congrats your about 2months along."
Rain smiled and shook her head, "Wow... Do they know?"
Matt's smile got wider, "Yeah. I think they bought out a small cigar store and gave one to the whole staff; right down to the parking attendant."
Rain laughed and wince her shoulder making her yelp. That woke both Steve and Bucky who rushed to her.
Steve rang the nurse call button, "Rain you're awake."
Bucky held her hand, "Baby girl you scared the hell out of me."
Rain blinked tears away, "I couldn't let..."
Steve kissed her forehead, "Rain baby..."
The nurse came in, "Ok ok I need to check my patient so everyone out for a few... Go get breakfast or something."
Bucky kissed, "We'll be right back."
The nurse gave a sigh, "Girl you're the envy of half the nurses up here. Both those fine men?"
Rain tried to chuckle, "I can't believe it myself."
The nurse grinned, "Well they're devoted to you for sure; they wouldn't leave your side once you came back to recovery."
The nurse changed the bandage and checked her vitals, "Someone from OB will be by later to check the baby."
Rain smiled as Steve then Bucky came back in, "Is something wrong with the baby?" Bucky asked nervously.
The nurse shook her head, "No; just routine Mr. Barnes."
Steve thanked her then turned to Rain, "Matt went home to change and update Foggy."
Rain chewed her lip, "So ah... I didn't know... Are you guys..."
Steve smiled and looked at Bucky who placed a hand gently on her stomach, "Rain... We... Could not be more excited. A baby with you? That's... Well I don't know how to tell you excited I am."
Steve kissed Rain's hand, "Bucky and I talked; we don't care who is the biological father. It's our baby."
Rain started to cry, "I love you guys so much!"
Steve brushed her tears away and kissed her.
Bucky held her hand tight, "Rain... You are my world. I... I swear to always protect you."
Rain smiled and leaned in to kiss him.
Steve grinned, "Our moms are going to be excited."
Rain laid her head back, "Oy vay... I need to meet your moms."
Both men laughed.
