Rain smiled at the outfit she laid on the bed. Her men had only ever seen her in her casual everyday clothes; tonight she had hoped to dazzle them.
Rain looked in the mirror and laughed, "They won't know what hit them."
Her phone rang Matt's special tone[Won't back down by Fuel], "Hello?"
Matt's voice answered, "Hey Rainy I'm just checking in."
Rain smiled, "I'm glad you called I have something to tell you."
On the other side Matt motioned for Foggy and put the call on speaker, "What is it sweetheart? Oh Foggy's here too."
Foggy smiled, "Hi Rain."
Rain smiled and sat in a chair, "Hey Foggers... Ok well ah the safe house I told you about is with Steve Rogers..."
There was a pause before Matt giggled and said, "Pay up Nelson."
Rain laughed, "What did you bet on?"
Foggy grumbled, "He bet me $20 that Steve Rogers or his second James Barnes had you put under protection."
Rain blushed and thought, 'That's not all they put me under.'
Rain cleared her throat, "They both did actually."
A long pause hung in the air, "Rainy... You mean they both..." Foggy stuttered and Matt chuckled, "Rain Lynn Creek both?"
Rain was glad her friends could not see her blush, "Yes both. We're going out tonight to sorta mark the occasion."
Foggy paced out the room muttering, "Sweet innocent mousy Rain Creek and Captain America and his Winter Soldier..."
Matt took her off speaker laughing, "Sorry Rainy you should see his face." Matt sighed, "Seriously though Rain... Are you happy?"
She smiled, "Yeah... Matt they are both. I can't believe either would me. I'm just the chubby plain looking glasses wearing librarian."
Matt was glad his friend found someone[let a lone 2 someone's]who saw how beautiful she was inside and out. He did make a note to talk with both, "Rain... You know you are beautiful... Inside and out."
Rain leaned into the chair, "Matt... You're my friend you're biased." She laughed, "But honestly they both make me feel like I am. And not just together either. I mean even alone one on one I feel..."
Matt smiled, "Loved?"
Rain sounded shocked, "Holy shit! I'm... Oh god do you think?"
Matt laughed, "Yes you're in love and I really think they probably love you too."
Rain giggled, "I got to finish getting ready, in a few days I'll call and maybe you can come over for dinner?"
Matt chuckled, "I'd like that have fun girly."
