**Sipho
After my talk with mom and making sure she was tucked in bed and better than she was when I walked in, I went to check on my bestie; my sister. I switched the lights off on all the other rooms because gran was already in hers and so I went to check on my sister in hers. I knocked once but she didn't respond, knowing her she wasn't going to respond to anyone in the mood she was in so I let myself in. I found her sleeping with her phone ringing nonstop, it was strange because Anam is not a deep sleeper, never has been.
Me: Nam your phone
She didn't respond. I walked over to her bed and I noticed two empty bottles of pills, her anti-depressants and sleeping pills and the third bottle was still in her hand open but the contents were still inside.
Me: no. no. no Anam you cannot do this. Mom! Gran!
I shouted but no-one responded
Me: Mom!
Mom came in rubbing her eyes, she was about to say something when she saw Anam
Her: Sipho go start the car we have to rush her to the clinic
Me: mum her p...
Her: Sipho just go and start the car ok.
I nodded and rushed to the car. Of all the things she could have resulted to, suicide? Really? Even drug abuse would have been better than this. I was praying so hard that she doesn't die, I understand that she has been through a lot for her age but she can't die. Not now! She's supposed to deliver a speech at my wedding. She can't do this to us. I ran back inside and I picked her up and put her in the car with my grandma in the backseat and mom joined me in the front with her phone in her hand making a call, judging by the conversation she was talking to Mrs Norris. I drove off.
Her: Rebekah said she'll meet us at the clinic
I just kept driving. I was scared to lose my sister. She and I once made a pact, I was going to walk her down the aisle and she was going to deliver a speech at my wedding. So you can understand why I don't want to lose her just yet. I know we are all going to die someday but this couldn't possibly be her time. Mom was looking outside the window and not saying anything to anyone while granny was praying her lungs out. A few minutes later I saw lights flashing behind of which I'm guessing that those were the Norris's. When we got to the clinic I got off and picked her up and followed behind mom and we put her on a bed and they disappeared with her. Mrs Norris was with her husband. Granny sat on the chairs, I kept pacing up and down. All of this seemed familiar, I remembered the time Robin was brought in and it was her brother going up and down and unsettled. I took out my phone and tried calling Marcel, he needed to know right? his phone rang answered, I kept trying but still no luck until I eventually decided to leave him a voicemail telling him to get back to me and that it was about Anam.
Gran: Sipho come sit down
Me: I can't granny.
Her: pacing around won't help her. It won't make her feel any better, just come and sit down
I tried to argue but you know how old women are, they always win. I went to sit next to her and she took my hands and Mr Norris's and she told us to close our eyes and we did just that.
Her: father god we come humbled before you asking you to save her. You said in your word that you would never leave us nor forsake us so father god we need you to come through, please do not forsake us in this time of need. Please bring her back to us father god. Please just bring my baby back to me father. I can't lose her, not now and not like this. Please come through father. Amen
Us: Amen.
She let go of our hands and then she wiped her tears with her handkerchief. There was complete silence with none of us saying anything to each other. About 30 minutes later or so mom walked in looking exhausted, she didn't give anything away which only scared me even worse.
