CHAPTER 16

Purvi woke up and saw Kavin was sleeping peacefully. She then saw Akshit standing behind Kavin that too along with the CID team.

'Gayi kaam se ab..' She thought.

'Shh..' Akshit pointed while Purvi was trying to understand the situation.

Kavin woke up and saw Purvi. He smiled seeing her. He thought of wishing her good morning in the same way he did last night but seeing her expressions, he felt as if someone was behind him. He turned back and saw them.

'Aap sab yaha..?' Kavin asked.

'Thank you Kavin meri behen ki jaan bachane ke liye.. Agar tum nahi hote tho shayad mai  use kho deta..' Akshit said.

'Dada aise kyun keh rahe hai..? Mujhe laga dada ko pata chal gaya ki Kavin yaha raat bhar ruka mere saath..' Purvi thought.

'Kal mai shehar mei nahi tha aur jaise hi tumhe khabar mila tho tumne uski jaan bachane ke liye uska rishtedaar ban gaye..' Akshit said.

'Rishtedaar bana ka kya matlab hai..? Pati hu uska, itna tho karna mera responsibility hai..' Kavin thought.

'Mujhe Dr ne sab bataya.. And thanks a lot ki tum Pari ke saath yaha ruke usko himmat dete rahe..' Akshit said while Kavin smiled.

'Pari fikar mat karo.. Mai us phone karne wale ko dhundh ke rahunga aur usse chodunga nahi..' Akshit said and left from there in anger.

'Mai Dr. Purvi ke ruk jaata hu.. Vo thodi ghabrayi hui hai..' Kavin said while they left. Kavin turned towards Purvi.

'Ghabrao mat mai jaanta hu ki tum nahi chahti ki Akshit ko tumhara raaz pata chale..' Kavin said.

'Tho jaldi jao aur dada ko roko.. Phone call dada ne check kiya tho pata chalega ki mai USA mei nahi balki mai yahi India mei thi..' Purvi said.

'India mei the ka kya matlab hai..?' Dushyant asked coming inside.

'Vo..' Kavin said.

'Mai Kavin jee ka ilaaz kar rahi thi..' Purvi said while Kavin looked at her.

'Chup chup ke..?' Dushyant asked.

'Ha vo.. Vo chahte the ki mai inka ilaaz karu..' Purvi said.

'Par Akshit ne kaha ki aap USA gayi thi..' Dushyant said.

'Vo..' Kavin said and looked at Purvi and then at Dushyant.

'Mujhe tumse kuch baat karna hai, zara idhar aana..' Dushyant dragged Kavin aside.

'Kal kya kar rahe the tum..?' Dushyant asked.

'Mai kya kar raha tha..? Kuch bhi tho nahi..' Kavin said.

'Jhoot mat bolo.. Mujhe pata hai ki tum kya kar rahe the.. Tumne Purvi ka faayda uthaya na..' Dushyant asked while Kavin looked at him in shock.

'Tu-tum..' Kavin couldn't speak.

'Tu tho bada chupa rustam nikla.. Apni crush ko seeda kiss kar diya vo bhi tab jab vo so rahi thi.. Pehle propose kar ke use apni dil ki baat batao, phir kiss karo aur phir jo karna hai karo..' Dushyant said.

'Jo karna tha vo kar diya ab kiss ki kya baat hai..' Kavin thought.

'Ha..' Kavin said and turned to leave.

'Kavin..' Dushyant said while he turned back.

'I know ki tu Purvi se pyaar karta hai.. Par mujhe is baat ka fikar hai ki aunty Purvi ko kabhi accept nahi karegi.. Isliye Purvi ko..' Dushyant said.

'Mai Purvi ko kabhi nahi bhulunga aur na hi use khud se dur hone dunga..' Kavin said and went to Purvi.

'I just hope ki Kavin aur Purvi ki shaadi aunty ko pasand aa jaaye aur sab thik thak ho..' Dushyant said.

Kavin sat beside Purvi and she slept for sometime. The doctor came and checked her once. After sometime, Akshit came and asked Kavin to take a rest. Kavin left from there and then he came to his house.

Kavin's mother got to know about Purvi, but she didn't knew her. The only thing she knew was Purvi was Kavin's surgeon, so Kavin went to help her. His mother thought that Purvi had a small accident, so she went to fix their marriage.

But when she saw Purvi and listened to what the house surgeons talked between them about Purvi's condition, she decided that Purvi can't be her daughter-in-law. She returned back to her house.

The next day, Kavin got freshened up and went to the hospital to check on Purvi. His mother followed him and saw how lovely they both were. It was enough for his mother to see them lovey dovey as a couple.

She went inside the room and Purvi looked at her. Kavin also looked at his mother.

'Kya kar rahe ho yaha..?' She asked.

'Mai Purvi ka haal chaal puchne aaya tha maa..' Kavin said.

'Haal chaal puchne aaye ya uske saath pyaar ka chakkar chala rahe ho..?' His mother asked.

'Ha mai pyaar karta hu Purvi se..' Kavin confessed as he thought it would be better to confess rather than to hide the truth.

'Mai kisi bhi ladki ko apne ghar ki bahu banane ke liye tayaar hu par ise nahi.. Bhul ja ise..' Kavin's mother said.

'Kyun maa..? Purvi mei kya kami hai..?' Kavin asked.

'Yeh pucho ki is mei ab kya sahi hai..' Kavin's mother said.

'Na yeh chal sakti hai, na thik se khadi ho sakti.. Khade rehne ki baat chodo, yeh tho kisi ke madad ke bina bistar pe thik se bait bhi nahi sakti hai.. Aur sabse badi kami tho yeh mujhe kabhi vaaris nahi de sakti hai..' Kavin's mother said and all this was heard by Akshit and whole CID team.

'Maa Purvi ka accident hua hai.. Yeh haalat permanent nahi hai, temporary bhi ho sakta hai.. Aur rahi baat iske baitne ya khade hone ki tho mai hu use sambhaal ne ke liye..Shaadi tho mai Purvi se hi karunga..' Kavin said.

'Aur vaaris ka kya..?' She asked.

'Hum intezaar karenge Purvi ka thik hone ka.. Jab vo thik hogi tab hum dekh lenge..' Kavin said.

'Aur agar vo zindagibhar aise hi apahiz rahi tho..' Kavin's mother asked.

'Maa..' Kavin said.

'Mujhe jawaab chahiye..' His mother said.

'Pari Kavin se shaadi nahi karegi.. Akshit said.

'Aap log jaa sakte hai..' Akshit said.

'Akshit..' Kavin said.

'Mai Pari ka insult hote hue nahi dekh sakta..' Akshit said.

'Mai bhi Purvi se dur nahi reh sakta..' Kavin said and he went out and came back after sometime. He finally filled her forehead with vermillion making her his wife while everyone was shocked.
