CHAPTER 40

'Inhone hi tumhare dono bachchon ke paida hote hi Purvi se alag kar diya.. Par use yeh baat tab pata nahi tha.. Vo sirf Saanjh aur Rohan ko dhundhti reh gayi..' Aarav said.

'Jab finally vo tumse mili aur tumne usse shaadi ki tab use pata chala ki tumhare papa ek khooni hai.. Vo sirf tumhare saamne saboot laana chahti thi lekin..' Maira said..

'Lekin kya..?' Kavin asked.

'Lekin tumhari mummy ne bina tumhe bataye artificial tarike se, I mean IVF taur se tumhare bachche ho isliye tumhare samples lab mei diya aur use Vikram (Piya's father) ke biwi ko diya gaya aur vo..' Aarav also hesitated.

'Saaf saaf bolo..' Kavin yelled making everyone taken aback.

'Kavin..' Dushyant said.

'Vo keh raha hai ki Piya tumhari beti hai.. Aur Piya ki mummy Vikram ki patni hai..' Dushyant said hesitating while Kavin was shocked.

'Don't tell me ki isi wajah se Purvi ne mujhe chod diya.. I mean bina mujhse ek explanation maange..' Kavin was out of words.

'Vo Akshit..' Aarav said.

'Maine kya kiya..?' Akshit asked.

'Us din tumne record kiya tha na Kavin ki baat ki Kavin bachche ke liye..' Aarav said while Akshit explained whatever happened.

'Mai bachche ko adopt karne ki baat kar raha.. Purvi ko yeh tho nahi lagta ki mai bachche ke liye uspe cheat.. Damn it..' He said and teared the combined cloth between him and Sanjana. He left in search of Purvi.

'Aage ka tho usne suna nahi..' Aarav sighed while Duhsyant asked what happened.

'Vikram ko bahut gussa aaya jab use sach pata chala.. Isliye usne Purvi ko torcher kiya yeh kehte hue ki Purvi Piya ki mummy ban ke rahegi.. Kyunki Piya ki mummy ko jab yeh baat pata chala tho usne suicide karne ki koshish kiya..' Aarav said.

While on the other hand, Kavin was driving the car.

'Purvi.. Kaha ho tum..? Ek baar mil jao.. Mai tumhe sab bataunga.. Pls bas ek baar..' Kavin thought and he  took a wrong route. Luckily he got saved from meeting with an accident (ig vm).

Kavin came out and then he saw her all alone. He was facing her back. He went near her.

'Purvi..' He called her name softly. She turned but what he saw in her eyes was pain, but along with that pain he saw there were many unsaid words which she never said.

'Purvi..' He said but she took backward steps. Her tear rolled down from her left eye.

'I can explain jaan..' He said.

She glared him and said, 'zaroorat nahi hai dikh gaya aapka pyaar..' Another tear rolled down her eyes.

'Mai maanta hu ki maine bachche ki baat kaha maa ko lekin vo sirf adopt karne ke baare mei tha..' He said.

'Purvi.. Mai.. Mai sirf tumse pyaar karta hu..' He said.

'Isliye Sanjana se shaadi ki..?' She asked being mad.

'Mai.. Mai gusse mei tha.. Maine tumhare aane ka intezaar kiya puri raat..' Kavin said.

'Bahut bada ehsaan kar diya..' She said.

'Purvi..' He said.

'Leave..' She said.

'Jaan..' Kavin called.

'Just leave..' She shouted at top of her voice.

Vinay signalled him to sit in his car. Kavin sat while Purvi fell on her knees and bursted into tears.

After sometime, Kavin saw Vinay leaving from there. Kavin got down from the car and just then he received a call from an unknown number. Kavin answered it.

'Purvi tumhare saath rehne nahi aayegi.. Infact tumhe kudh uske ghar jaana padega vo bhi bachchon ke saath.. Tum dono ko saath rehne ke liye maine bahut mushkil se manaya Purvi ko.. Purvi tumhare saath kya karegi yeh mujhe nahi pata lekin bachchon ki maa ban ke rahegi vo.. Aur ha Purvi aaj bhi tumhari legally wedded wife hai..' Vinay said and cut the call.

'Kam se kam rehne ke liye maan tho gayi..' Kavin sighed and sat in his car. He drove towards his house and informed his mother..

'Aaj se mai yeh ghar chod ke jaa raha hu.. Aapne jo kiya usne na sirf Purvi ki balki aapne khud apne bete ko khud se dur kiya hai.. Aaj ke baad mai na aapse milne aaunga aur aap mujhse milne nahi aayengi..' Kavin said, packed his luggage along with his kids and left from there.

Kavin along with Saanjh and Rohan reched Purvi's house. He entered inside and then he saw Piya and Vikram along with his wife standing there while Purvi was facing the wall (her back was towards Kavin).

'Hum Piya ko yaha chod ke jaa rahe hai..' Vikram's wife, Neeti said.

'Piya ko yaha chod ke jaayenge tho pata nahi is ghar mei kya hoga..? Especially Purvi aur bachchhe kaise react karenge..? Kya Purvi mujhe kabhi maaf karegi..?' Kavin thought.

Purvi just walked to her room while Vikram and Neeti were about to leave but Kavin stopped them. He sat on his knees and hesitated for a bit and finally said Piya...

'Piya beta.. Kavin smiled.. He held her hand and said, Piya, beta aapki koi galti nahi hai.. Galti meri hai.. He hold her hand tightly.. I promise ki jab bhi tumhe zaroorat pade tho tum mere paas aa sakti ho.. Par abhi tum Vikram aur Neeti ke saath jao..' Kavin said.

'Piya ko apne saath le jao..' Kavin said to Vikram and Neeti.

'Piya..' Vikram said.

'Mai mummy ke saath rahungi..' Piya said and ran upstairs towards Purvi's room.

'Piya..' Kavin called her but she tried to open the door of Purvi's room but she couldn't as Purvi locked it from inside.

'Mummy..' Piya knocked the door while Saanjh and Rohan sighed. Saanjh went upstairs and then she said that Purvi is only Saanjh and Rohan's mother.

'Isliye unhe mummy mat bulao..' Saanjh said.

'Mai unke alawa kisi aur ko apni mummy nahi bulaungi..' Piya said.

'Mummy pls darwaza kholiye na..' Piya said.

'Vo darwaza nahi kholengi..' Saanjh said but to her surprise the door got opened.

'Mummy..' Piya said while Saanjh gritted her teeth.
