CHAPTER 18

'Kyun Kavin..? Agar Pari ko sach pata chalega tho uspe kya beetega..?' Akshit thought and he cried silently. Purvi was upstairs and Akshit was in the hall.

After sometime, Akshit washed his face and went upstairs. He slowly opened the door and saw that Purvi was sleeping peacefully. Akshit came to his room and he kept thinking all night what to do.

The next morning, Kavin came and took care of Purvi for sometime. Akshit saw love in Kavin's eyes. Kavin looked at Purvi while Akshit left them for a while.

'Aise kya dekh rahe hai mujhe..?' Purvi asked.

'Bas aise hi dekh raha tha..' He said.

'Nahi nahi.. Aapki yeh nazar keh raha hai ki zaroor kuch tho baat hai..' Purvi said.

'Vo..' Kavin said hesitating a bit.

'Vo kya..?' She asked.

'Darasal mai chahta hu ki hum shaadi kare lekin tumhara yeh haalat ki wajah se ruk gaya..' He said.

'Kyun..? I mean shaadi tho aap abhi bhi kar sakte hai.. Ha mai khud nahi pehen sakti par aap pehna tho sakte hai chudiya vagera.. Aur rahi baat mere kapdon ki tho vo aapki CID team ki lady gang badal denge..' Purvi said.

'Par photos ka kya..?' He asked.

'Photos baad mei liya jaa sakta hai..' Purvi said.

'Ha.. Thik hai.. Tho pandit ji ko bol deta hu mai phir hum shaadi kar lenge..' Kavin said while she agreed.

'Achchha ab mai bureau mai chalta hu.. Apna khyaal rakhna..' Kavin said but Purvi felt somewhat uneasy. Kavin gave her medicine and Purvi ate it.

After that she fell asleep and then Kavin went to bureau. At night, Kavin was working in bureau when he got a call from the city hospital.

'Jee kaun bol raha hai..?' Kavin asked.

'Mai Akshit bol raha hu..' Akshit said.

'Akshit..? Yeh kiska no. hai..?' Kavin asked.

'City hospital se..' Akshit said.

'City hospital..? Tum vaha kya kar rahe ho..?' Kavin asked.

'Pari ko hospital mei admit kiya hai.. Uski tabiyat thoda bigad gaya hai..' Akshit said and Kavin quickly came to see Purvi. She is sleeping when he came.

'Vo thik hai ab.. Dr ne kaha ki use aaram karne ki zaroorat hai..' Akshit said.

'Achanak uski tabiyat kaise bigad gaya..?' Kavin asked.

'Vo Pari ne ice cream khaane ki zid ki.. Maine mana kiya tha par maanti kaha hai meri baat.. Usne khaana khaaya hai aur uske baad ice cream khaaya.. Mai neeche gaya aur jab tak vaapis aaya tab tak uski tabiyat kharab ho gaya tha..' Akshit said.

'Uski tabiyat dopeher ko kharab hua aur tum mujhe ab bata rahe ho..?' Kavin asked.

'Use tab halki si khaasi ho raha tha bas.. Shyaam ko khaasi bad gaya aur abhi thodi der pehle hi mai use hospital le aaya tho pata chala ki use ice cream khaana nahi chahiye tha..' Akshit said while Kavin calmed himself down.

Kavin went towards her and sat beside her. He held her hand and stayed with her the entire night.

The next morning Kavin woke up and saw Purvi still sleeping.

'Shayad dawa ka asar hai abhi bhi..' Kavin thought.

He woke up and went out to bring breakfast for her. When he came back, he saw Purvi was sitting and Akshit was already feeding her. Kavin hid the breakfast and came infront of them.

'Ab kaisa lag raha hai..?' Kavin asked.

'Mai thik hu..' She said.

'Naasta kar lo..' He said with a smile. Akshit fed her the remaining food. Akshit left. Purvi looked at Kavin.

'Kuch chahiye tumhe..?' He asked.

'Aap naasta nahi karenge..?' She asked.

'Maine kar liya..' He lied.

'Aapne dewaar ke peeche naasta chupaya hai..' She said.

'Tumhe kaise pata..?' He asked.

'Aise hi nahi bani mai alpha agent..' She said in low tone.

'Ha.. Mai bhul gaya..' Kavin said and came with his breakfast. He ate silently and took care of her.

He got a call from panditji so he received the call.

'Jee pandit ji..' Kavin said.

'Beta aapne jo kundli di thi na.. Kal uska subh muhurat hai tho kya mai tayari kar du..?' Pandit ji asked.

'Jee kar dijiye..' Kavin said and cut the call.

'Kya kar dijiye..?' Purvi asked.

'Vo kal mai puri vidhi vidaan se tumse shaadi karunga aur tumhe apne saath apna ghar le jaaunga..' He said with a smile.

'Aur aunty..?' She asked while Kavin's smile faded away.

'Vo nahi maanengi.. Par mai tumhe khud se dur nahi rakhna chahta hu Purvi..' Kavin said holding her hand.

'Kavin.. Aap shaadi karna chahte hai beshak kijiye lekin mai aunty ke marzi ke bina us ghar mei kadam nahi rakhungi..' She said.

'Agar tum ghar mei kadam nahi rakhna chahti ho tho mai khud us ghar se tumhare ghar pe aa jaaunga..' Kavin said being stub born while Purvi sighed.

The next day Purvi opened her eyes and she was surprised to see her room decorated. She looked at Kavin and all CID officers smiling at her. Akshit was also there.

Kavin signalled Shreya, Tarika something and then the girls took Purvi somewhere. After sometime Purvi was wearing a saree dressed as a bride while Kavin also was dressed as a groom.

Kavin picked up Purvi in his arms and made her sit beside him where the small stage was arranged outside the hospital nearby. Then the pandit ji started chanting mantras and then Kavin picked her up in his arms and took pheras around the fire.

Pandit ji announced Kavi as husband and wife after they completed all the rituals. Kavin and everyone was happy. Purvi looked at Akshit, she knew that he was worried for his sister. She assured that everything is fine. Akshit smiled.

After sometime, Purvi was taken back to hospital in hospital's uniform as a patient as the hospital has strict rules. She saw her hand which has henna (mehendi) and Kavin's name written on her hand.

Everyone left leaving the newly wed couple alone. Kavin smiled looking at her.

'Vo Shreya ne banaya tha.. Mai tho dar raha tha kahi tum uth na jao jab vo mehendi laga rahi thi.. Tab tho yeh saara surprise pe paani fir jaata..' Kavin said.

'But thank god ki tumhara neend nahi khula..' Kavin said with a smile and Purvi looked outside and saw Akshit looking at her being suspicious.

'Kya dada bhi the raat ko..?' She asked while Kavin nodded in yes.
