CHAPTER 38

A week passed but there was no sign of Purvi and Saanjh.

'Beta Saanjh kab aayegi..?' Kavin's mother asked.

'Maa relax, Purvi ke saath gayi hai.. Purvi ke saath hogi vo..' Kavin said. After some time, Saanjh came. She went straight to her room, Kavin noticed that she was sad, so he went to her.

'Saanjh kya hua hai..? Tum itni udaas kyun ho..?' Kavin asked. Saanjh bursted into tears and hugged her father.

'Papa mujhe sab pata chal gaya hai ki mummy..' She just cries and says nothing.

'Mummy kya..? Kya pata chal gaya tumhe..?' Kavin asks.

'Mummy ki dusri family hai..' Saanjh cries.

'Kya..?' Kavin was shocked.

Saanjh then washes her face. She knew that Kavin wouldn't believe her, so she asked Kavin to drive. They reached a house and finally Kavin and Saanjh went near a window and peeped in.

A small girl was writing something, may be her home work.

'Mummy maine hw complete kar diya..' The girl shouted while Purvi came from kitchen with a smile.

'Very good..' Purvi said and then the girl went upstairs. A man came near Purvi.

'Piya ne apna hw complete kar diya.. Ab mai chalti hu..' She said.

'Tum aise nahi jaa sakti Purvi..' The man said while Purvi halted at her place.

'Shayad tum bhul gayi ho ki tumne kya contract kiya tha mere saath..' The man said.

'Contract yaad hai mujhe.. Lekin shayad aapko yaad nahi hai ki us contract ke hisaab se aapko is ghar ke bahar rehna chahiye is waqt..' Purvi said.

'Contract..?' Kavin thought.

'Agar mai bahar rahu tho tum Piya ko kuch kar na do..' The man said.

'Mera rishta sirf Piya ke saath hai, aapke saath mera koi rishta nahi hai Mr. Vikram..' Purvi said.

'Shukar karo ki mai apni biwi se pyaar karta hu, tumhare pati ki tarah EXTRA MARITAL AFFAIR NAHI RAKHTA..' Vikram said.

'Ex.. Extramarital affair..? Vo bhi mai..?' Kavin was speechless.

Kavin came out of his thoughts and when he looked inside, no one was there. Kavin looked at Saanjh who was walking towards their car.

'Saanjh, mummy aur vo uncle kaha hai..?' Kavin asked.

'Mujhe nahi pata.. Vo uncle mummy ko kamre mei gaseet ke le gaye..' Saanjh said.

Kavin and Saanjh were talking when Vikram came near them. He looked at them but without saying a word, he left from there.

'Saanjh tum yahi raho.. Mai aata hu.. Yaha se bilkul mat hilna..' Kavin said and went inside.

He rang the door bell and Piya opened the door. Kavin came inside and same time Purvi also came from the room. She halted seeing Kavin.

'Vikram bahar gaye hai..' She said.

'Piya tum jaake apna exams ke liye tayari karo..' Purvi said.

'Mummy exams tho abhi 2 mahine baad hai..' Piya said.

'Jaake Krish ke saath khelo phir..' Purvi said and Piya went out to play. Only Kavi were present.

'Piya kaun hai Purvi..? Tum uski mummy kyun ho..?' Kavin asked.

'Kal shyaam 5 baje usi jagah aana jaha hum pehli baar mile..' Purvi said and signalled him to leave for now.

'Umeed karta hu ki tum kal mujhe mere saare sawalon ke jawaab dogi.. Aur agar nahi diya na tho tumhari kasam kha ke kehta hu ki mai Sanjana se shaadi kar lunga..' Kavin said and left.

The next day, Kavin waited in that place. He waited the whole night but she didn't showed. Kavin was angry. So he decided to marry Sanjana. The next day in bureau, Kavin and Sanjana exchanged rings in front of all the cops (except for Purvi).

'Purvi mai tumhe dusra mauka de raha hu.. Abhi sirf sagaai ki.. Tumhare paas 2 hafte hai, agar do hafton mei tumne aake mujhe mere sawalon ke jawaab nahi diya tho mai shaadi kar lunga Sanjana se..' Kavin thought.

2 weeks passed by and as Kavin thought he was ready for marriage. The pandit asked the bride and groom to stand for pheras. They did 7 pheras and Kavin waited for few mins before applying vermilion on Sanjana's head. Purvi entered at the time when Kavin applied vermilion. Vikram along with Piya and another lady entered behind Purvi.

'Chalo Purvi.. Ab yaha tumhara koi kaam nahi..' The lady said.

'Sorry aunty..' Piya was crying while Vikram calmed her down.

Purvi just walked away from there while the lady followed her.

'Congratulations Kavin.. Mai bhagwaan se yahi dua karunga ki tumhara dusra shaadi kuch is tarah tute ki tum ek ek sec par is gutan mei ji voge ki  tumne Sanjana se shaadi kyun kiya..' Vikram said.

'Aur ha Piyush ji, Sanjana aapki so called dost ki asli beti hai Purvi nahi.. Aapne Purvi se jo chess wale dialogues kaha aur khela na vo Sanjana ke saath kheliyega.. Sach mei Sanjana chess bahut achchi khelti hai.. Purvi se bhi zyada achchhi player hai..' Vikram said and turned to leave. But then he turned back towards Kavin's mother.

'Aur ha maa ji aap.. Agli baar jab aap Kavin ki bachche chahti hai na tho pls artificial method ka istemaal mat kijiye.. Galti se kisi ki zindagi kharab ho sakti hai..' Vikram looked at Piya and a drop of tear rolled down his eye which he wiped. Vikram and Piya left.

'Kya matlab hai Vikram ka..?' Kavin thought and then he turned towards his mother.

'Bataiye na maa.. Kya matlab tha Vikram ka..?' Kavin asked.

'Mai batati hu..' Maira said entering inside.

'Mai sab batati hu jo kuch bhi Purvi ke saath hua hai..' Maira said.

'Aarav pls vo saare saboot le aana..' Maira said while Aarav brought a file and then a few clips.

'Yeh sab kya hai..?' Sanjana asked.

'Kavin aur Purvi ka rishte ka sach... Kuch aisa sach jo Kavin jaan jaaye tho isi waqt sabko chod ke Purvi ke paas chale jaaye..' Maira said.

'Aisa kya sach hai Maira..?' Kavin asked.

'Mai batati hu lekin us se pehle aap Rahul aur Akshit ko bulaiye.. Akshit aur Rahul ko pata tho chale ki aakhir Sanjana kitni achchhi ladki hai..' Maira said and then Akshit and Rahul came after Kavin called them.

'Ab batao Maira..' Dushyant said.

'Nahi, pehle Rahul apne mom dad ko bulayenge..' Maira said and then Rahul and Purvi's parents came.
