The cops kept thinking and it was late at night but there was no clue. Finally they decided to ask PURVI and kept waiting for her.
'Purvi ab tak aayi kyun nahi..?' Kavin thought and went to the park.
'Kahi koi surprise tho plan nahi kar rahi hai na..?' Kavin thought and called her.
Kavin waited for her to answer the call and then the phone was answered.
'Purvi itni der kyun lagaya phone uthane mei..?' Kavin asked. She cut the call. Kavin made another call and this time her phone was switched off. She came home at morning.
'Kaha thi tum..? Pata hai mai kitna ghabra gaya.. Aur tumhara phone..' Kavin asked. She went upstairs. Kavin followed her and asked her again but she stayed calm.
A week passed but she kept giving him a silent treatment. One day, Naina came and she was talking with Kavin.
'Kavin, mai Piya ko apne saath le jaana chahti hu..' Naina said.
'Thik hai le jao..' Kavin said. Naina entered Piya's room and saw Purvi cleaning her room.
'Piya beta ghar chale..?' Naina asked.
'Aap kaun ho..?' Piya asked.
'Mai aapki mummy hu..' Naina said.
'Meri mummy tho vaha hai..' Piya said.
'Nahi beta.. Vo aapki mummy nahi hai.. Mai aapki asli maa hu..' Naina said.
'Piya mere saath rahegi..' Purvi said.
'Purvi Piya meri beti hai tho mai use apne saath le jaane aayi hu..' Naina said.
'Kaha na maine Piya mere saath rahegi aur vo kahi nahi jaayegi..' Purvi shouted. Kavin came hearing her shout.
'Kya hua..?' He asked and Naina told whatever happened.
'Purvi Piya Naina aur Mayank ki beti hai tho vo unke saath rahegi..' Kavin said.
'Purvi Piya ka haath chodo.. Varna mujhe majburan yeh maamla court mei solve karna hoga..' Naina said. Purvi held Piya's hand tightly.
'Court mei milte hai phir..' Naina said and left.
'Purvi kya is matter ko court tak le jaana zaroori hai..? Piya Naina aur Mayank ke saath rahegi.. Aur jab bhi tumhe Piya se milna hai tum us se milne jaa sakti ho..' Kavin said.
'Piya mere saath rahegi bas..' Purvi said and left to her room.
After a few days, Kavi received a notice from court and finally they took Piya to court.
'Mai Purvi ji ko witness box mei bulane ka izzazat chahta hu my lord..' The prosecutor said.
'Izzazat hai..' The judge said. Purvi came to witness box.
'Kya Piya ko aapne janam diya..?' The prosecutor asked while she said no.
'My lord Piya ko janam meri client Naina ne diya..' The prosecutor said submitting the proof.
'Tho Mrs. Khanna.. Kya aap hume batayenge ki aapke pati ke saath jo do bachche hai vo kya aapke, I mean to say aapke aur Mr. Khanna ke bachchhe hai..?' The prosecutor questioned.
'Ha..' She answered.
'Saanjh aur Rohan.. Sahi kaha na..?' The prosecutor asked while she said yes.
'Aap jaa sakti hai Mrs. Khanna..' The prosecutor said and Purvi left to her seat.
'My lord, ab mai Saanjh aur Rohan ko witness box mei bulane ka izzazat chahta hu..' The prosecutor said.
'Izzazat hai..' The judge said and the duo came to the witness box.
'Saanjh Rohan kya aapki mummy ne kabhi aap logon ke school functions attend kiye..? Annual functions, sports day ya ghar pe hi koi aisa occassion jaise ki aap logon ke birthday pe kuch special kiya ho..?' The prosecutor asked.
Saanjh and Rohan got teary as they couldn't answer that their mother has never done something special for them.
'Aap log jaa sakte ho..' The prosecutor said and they went near Kavin and he asked them not to cry.
'Bachchon ki khamoshi hi bata raha hai ki Purvi ne apne dono bachchon ka thik se khyaal nahi rakha hai.. Jis aurat ne kabhi apne sage bachchon ka khyaal hi thik se na rakho ho vo bhala kisi aur ke bachche ki khyaal kya rakhegi my lord..?' The prosecutor questioned.
'Upar se hamara kanoon kehta hi hum do hamare do.. Purvi ji ko pehle se hi do bachche hai tho unhe adopt karne ka sawaal hi nahi uth sakta..' The prosecutor said.
'Aapko kuch nahi kehna hai Mr. Pathak..?' The judge asked the defense lawyer.
'Nahi my lord..' Mr. Pathak said while Purvi looked at him.
'PIYA APNI MAA NAINA KE SAATH HI RAHEGI AAJ SE..' THE JUDGE GAVE HIS DECISION.
'AUR NAINA JI NE COURT SE JO REQUEST KIYA USE BHI HUM ACCEPT KARTE HAI.. AAJ KE BAAD PURVI KABHI BHI PIYA SE MILNE NAHI JAA SAKTI..' THE JUDGE SAID FINALLY GIVING HIS VERDICT.
Piya was taken away from Purvi. She followed Piya but then Piya left in a car. Purvi came to take her car keys and she heard Kavin and Mr. Pathak having a conversation.
'Umeed karta hu ki mera kuch na bolna aapki pariwaar ke kaam aaye.. Aapki biwi ab aapke bachchon ka khyaal rakhe.. Aur Piya se dur jaane ke baad ab vo Saanjh aur Rohan pe dhyaan de.. Aur ha aapne jo paise diye yeh case haar ne ke liye uske liye bhi thank you.. Mujhe paison ki sakt zaroorat hai..' Mr. Pathak said and left.
Kavin turned and saw Purvi there. It was very obvious that she was angry on him. Kavin went behind her and stopped her.
'Mai maanta hu ki maine jo kiya vo galat hai.. Lekin mai chahta hu ki tum Saanjh aur Rohan ka khyaal rakho.. Piya tumhare aas paas rehti hai tho tumhara saara dhyaan sirf us pe rehta hai.. Aaj tumne dekha na ki Saanjh aur Rohan kuch bol nahi paaye..' Kavin said.
Purvi's phone rang, Kavin was asking her to forgive him as he just helped Naina to gain Piya back but he was unaware of the fact that Purvi can't meet Piya. Purvi's phone rang again. This time Kavin noticed the caller's ID.
'MAYANK KA CALL PURVI KO..?' Kavin thought.
Purvi sat in her car and left, Kavin followed her but got lost in mid way.
'Mujhe Mayank se baat karna hoga..' Kavin thought and called him after sometime.
