The radio fell into silence once again after announcing the exam information. The car was silent.

What precious calming pill? With "Romani" here, all that just went up in smoke.

Despite Qin Jiu's declaration that everything would be okay with Invigilator A there... some people couldn't help but still feel nervous.

Everyone was in daze for a moment. They collapsed lifelessly into their seats.

The minivan instantly turned into a hearse carrying several people who were on the brink of death.

Besides from the two Head Invigilators, everyone else in the room seemed to share the same mood.

Qin Jiu was just idly tapping his fingers, still wondering just why he seemed so... interested in this examination.

It was irritating enough alone being awakened from his sleep, and he was even awakened to such terrible news.

The reaction was instantaneous; everyone turned pale. That was even worse! You Huo was clearly the most capable one taking the exams! If Romani really was such a difficult subject, then wouldn't it literally be like sending other groups marching towards their death?

No, it really was better that You Huo's team was the one taking the Romani exam. Not just him, but they also had Shu Xue, who might be able to help out as well due to her bugged state.

They turned to glance at the faux-pregnant lady... only to notice that she was sitting still, like a statue, barely breathing as she stared at the screen in horror.

The middle-aged man that also seemed to know Shu Xue had also tensed up, shaking nervously as he shrunk in on themselves.

Some of them wanted to question her, but seeing as the invigilators weren't reacting at all... they decided it was better for their health to not ask.

Just as You Huo was about to sit up, he saw a certain someone come over through the gap between his eyelids.

He immediately closed his eyes and pretended to be dead asleep.

Despite how depressing the news of a fucking Romani exam was... everyone started snickering. They certainly didn't dare to say it out loud... but it was just so childish! Pretending to be asleep so Qin Jiu wouldn't bother him... obviously, with how stubborn and persistent Qin Jiu was, it wasn't going to work, but it was a good attempt.

"Awww!" Qin Jiu rested his head on You Huo's shoulder, "Trying to avoid me, dear? I thought you loved me!"

You Huo just shot the other a deadpan look. Yes, he loved his stupid-not-really-ex-boyfriend, but at this point, he was just being ridiculous. Did he look like a pillow? Stop leaning on him! He didn't mind the body contact, he loved it, in fact; but did he really have to do it in the very same room as Gao Qi, who was more than likely going to explode again!?
