From their previous experience, they learnt that they didn't need to complete all the questions provided during the exam.
As long as the examinee can bear the consequences of not writing down an answer such as not earning any points, non-critical ones could be skipped.
"So... they just have to answer the reading question and give out all the dolls? And skip the listening questions..."
If even the girl who knew Romani couldn't get the question right despite actually understanding the language... then what were the chances that You Huo's team could get it right?
Even if they put the vaguest answer like "On planet Earth" out there, the System would probably also find some way to say its wrong, like saying that "oh Chars Village doesn't exactly exist on Earth" or something, or just get pissed off and try to find some other rule to try and find a way to punish them.
Either way, it was clear that the listening questions were now a lost cause.
There were three methods one could end an exam: One was total annihilation; another was when you run out of time and the last method was answering the key question(s) early.
The key question of the hunter was finding that special set of tableware.
The key question here was the reading question - Gifting out the dolls and finding your way home.
"But... how are they going to give them out?" An examinee asked.
You Huo had made it clear that he was going to give them out now.
Except... they only had interactions with like... three villagers. The village chief, Zhao Wentu, and the lady that answered all their questions. And those dolls... they all looked so plain and generic, with only the differing clothes that set them apart.
It was obvious that the Black Widow's letter would probably describe each doll and match them to the villager... except none of them could understand Romani to literally save their life.
It wasn't like he could suddenly pick up a "Romani for dummies" book out of nowhere and suddenly learn to understand the language...
They glanced at Invigilator A.
Actually, knowing You Huo... if there was such a book... he'd probably be able to ace this exam easily.
The only problem: such a book didn't exist. And they'd have no way to get it anyways.
So how did You Huo plan to solve this predicament?
Previously, Yu Wen had thought that it would take them a long time to gift the dolls out.
Like how it was recorded in Zhao Wentu's diary, everyone would gather together, try and blindly guess the correct owner of each doll and then carefully complete a small portion of the task each day.
The examinees and invigilators all nodded along.
That was clearly the intention of the exam... spend a day observing a villager, and then try to match them with a doll, and pray to god that they weren't sliced and diced by ghost arms at night...
He never expected this golden thigh of his to think that it was too slow and he even wanted to finish it in one night.
Eighteen households in one night?
What kind of joke is this...
It wasn't because they didn't believe in You Huo, they just had no idea where to start.
