[67] Don't Close Your Eyes At Me: Transition

School cafeterias and bathrooms would always be most crowded places.

But this school didn't have a public bath.

"Not going to lie, that's quite good." A moderate pinched his brow, "Can you imagine how awkward it would be, if A and GIN had to shower with the other kids."

"No offence guys..." A hardliner snorted, "But that would be awkward as fuck."

You Huo blinked emotionlessly; as if he'd want some random kids looking at Qin Jiu without his clothes on...

He glanced over at Qin Jiu, who was nodding along idly, a teasing smirk lingering on his lips, "None taken."

At least they both agreed on that, regardless of the other's reasoning...

Preserving the dignity of a "compulsory" boarding high school, the living conditions weren't too bad-

For the first and second years, the rooms are shared amongst four students and for the third years, two shared a room. Each room had their own private bathroom as well as a balcony.

Qin Jiu's eyes lit up slightly upon. Compared to most other exam centers where they had to live in strange, dingy houses, or not even have somewhere to stay at all, this arrangement was actually quite nice. Having a private bathroom was great, since there was no chance that the other students would be hogging the bathrooms... and no one except for himself would get to see You Huo potentially shirtless after a shower...

Of course, there was still the viewing experience... but Qin Jiu would just have to take pride in the fact that he was the only one who would get that kind of view first hand... even if it was his future self.

Although the little fatty wasn't tall and was even round, he was indeed a senior at this school.

The rooms in his dormitory were double rooms and this was the same for You Huo and Qin Jiu.

"To prevent students from indulging themselves and wasting time, hot water will only be available from 9-12 in the evening." The little fatty explained: "Here, there is a card slot here. If you put your meal card in, you can get water. Money would be deducted from the card. You can just think of it as money to cover the water bill. It's also to prevent everyone from showering too long."

The invigilators all nodded approvingly.

There was plenty of time for the kids to shower, and if they wanted to indulge in a nice, warm shower every once in a while, there was nothing stopping them from doing so. It was also a very practical system that stopped kids from wasting water needlessly, or spending far too long in the shower and hogging all the hot water.

This might only be an examination conjured by the System, but the examinees would also be able to benefit from this, so it was actually quite a good arrangement.

"Why is it 9 o'clock?"

"Because the most relaxed students, those first-year brats finish their evening self study classes at 9."

"You're a minor too yet you call others brats so easily." Qin Jiu said.

"Bah. As if you can say anything." Gao Qi huffed at Qin Jiu, "We're all around your age and you still disregard us half the time."

"Ha! Look at your own boss. He's the youngest and he doesn't give a shit either." Qin Jiu stuck his thumb in You Huo's direction, almost condescendingly.

"That's because he's our BOSS, you idiot. He's our senior in terms of rank." 058 grumbled, and Qin Jiu smiled, "Ah, ain't that right, my dear Big Invigilator?"
