A/N No beta, I have a headache, will beta in the morning (if i remember, dont hold me to it)

The re-examination didn't require the examinees to choose their subjects so naturally they didn't find themselves at an intersection.
"They'd still end up in the same examination, right?" An examinee couldn't help but ask curiously.
"Yeah, to restrict his freedom, since GIN is still tied to A. It is still a punishment for him, after all..." Invigilator F nodded in confirmation, "But I doubt they'd end up in the same team, like last time."
After all, the last time they were on the same team... the System definitely was going to do its best to limit their chaos while adhering to the rules that it had set.
When You Huo entered through the door, thick fog covered his face.
Qin Jiu stepped through first.
Earlier he had wanted to say something to You Huo but the next second his tall figure entered into the fog...
And disappeared.
"Say something?" Several invigilators were wondering what Qin Jiu had wanted to say.
Their own GIN definitely didn't know what his future self was thinking... but given what he had discussed with 922 during his punishment, perhaps it was something about You Huo's past relationship?
But that couldn't be right either... even if Qin Jiu knew that You Huo knew his past identity, Qin Jiu also knows that You Huo doesn't remember too much from his past.
GIN knew better than anyone how the System robbed one of their memories, and even if You Huo did end up dreaming of Qin Jiu during the Politics punishment, it didn't mean that he even remember anything about his past relationships.
But what else would Qin Jiu want to discuss with You Huo?
After experiencing so many exams, he had also gone through fogs many times.
But for the first time, You Huo felt a sense of emptiness.
"..."
The invigilators, especially the moderates, all looked slightly constipated.
You Huo and Qin Jiu had been in a relationship before, but the System had wiped their memories, so they didn't remember. But with the effect from the confinement room loosening the System's hold on their memories, and hanging around each other for such a long time...
And if Qin Jiu, even with his amnesia, had fallen for You Huo yet again...
Their minds may have forgotten each other, but their hearts definitely had not.
You Huo's loneliness, emptiness... he just missed Qin Jiu.
Surely, it wasn't asking too much of them to accept that Qin Jiu made You Huo happy, and that they should just be supportive of this relationship...
Countless familiar yet unfamiliar moments surfaced...
On a certain day of a certain year, he sat at the end of a conference table. Someone glanced at him through the arguing crowd before picking up his jacket and leaving;
Qin Jiu blinked, and tilted his head, oblivious to the thoughts of the other invigilators.
He did remember something like this occurring... though, as for why he had left instead of confronting You Huo, he no longer remembered.
