Once Chu Yue and Qin Jiu's laughter died down, they managed to continue.

On this island was a large area of reef.

Tall reefs were arranged irregularly, forming small gaps that barely allowed a single person to pass through.

The examinees however never went there.

It was a bit surprising that it was somewhere that the examinees wouldn't investigate; after all, in most exams, or even escape rooms, exploring the entire area to ensure that one didn't miss out on any clues was very important.

But in this case, considering the climate... it wasn't too odd; it would definitely be dangerous if the examinees, especially one not-really-pregnant Shu Xue, were to explore there.

Plus... it would be quite unlikely for the System to hide any clues there. In trying to emulate such scenarios in real life (if they ignored all the witchcraft and the overgrown octopus), it was likely that most people would avoid such a place in the first place, so they wouldn't leave any clues for the examinees there anyways.

Firstly, the sharp stones and frozen ground made it a very dangerous place.

They nodded in agreement.

And secondly, the wind passing through these small gaps was enough to make their brains freeze. Not only that, it would also whistle and make it sound like it was haunted.

Those who are on the timider side would probably wet themselves.

But at this moment, two tall figures squeezed out through the reef-

It was Di Li and his companion Brother Li.

"..."

"Eh?"

Everyone looked a little confused.

The previous scene clearly showed that Qin Jiu and You Huo had returned... and while they weren't looking out for them specifically, they were pretty sure they remembered seeing Di Li and Brother Li there as well...

"Huh... this must be showing something that occurred before those two got back." Zhao Jiatong commented, and the other invigilators nodded in agreement, having come to similar conclusions.

That got the other examinees to relax, and they all settled back down to continue watching the viewing experience.

These two just happened to be a little OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder), and this trait of theirs was particularly obvious when they searched for someone-

They must ensure that they have walked through every single path at least once. If they missed any, they would feel uncomfortable all over.

And so, they ended up in a damned place like this.

"..."

Others who suffered from the same issue all nodded.

It was a little annoying at times; not just talking about the missing teammates, if they lost something small like a stack of post-its, or a pack of tissue paper, or even a pen, they wouldn't be satisfied unless they checked the entire house, every single bag and drawer, or even the trash cans, even if they knew that logically, it was probably left in their office, or in their lockers in school.

Obviously, such a trait wasn't too bad, even if it was a little annoying; the little niggling feeling at the back of their heads if they tried to ignore it or give up searching for an item. But given that it had led poor Di Li, who wasn't even in university yet, or his companion Brother Li, to be searching around for the two great masters in such a dangerous place...
