Soon, the video lit up.

Qin Jiu and You Huo immediately focused on the video.

The latter already had a pretty good idea of what might be seen... and the former was merely just curious about something from his examinee days.

Qin Jiu's first reaction was to check and make sure the charger was connected properly so that it wouldn't cut out halfway.

Just as he pushed the charger in firmly, he froze and laughed silently at himself.

Qin Jiu leaned forwards curiously. He certainly wanted to know what his future self was thinking in this scenario.

How should he put it...

If at this moment he was a bystander and he saw 922 or 154 do something like that, he would definitely think that they're anxious.

Qin Jiu snorted, and Wen Yuan and 154 glanced at each other... then back at their boss.

Well, he wasn't exactly wrong...

He Qin Jiu had lived for thirty years and, based on the memories that he currently possessed, he had never been like this before.

This emotion that came out of nowhere was very strange.

Chu Yue rolled her eyes, "Yeah, and you probably possess less than half of your memories, so..."

She waggled her eyebrows at Qin Jiu and You Huo. You Huo was this close to rolling his eyes out of his sockets, while Qin Jiu burst into laughter and leaned against the younger invigilator.

Some other invigilators looked at Chu Yue questioningly, but she just stuck her tongue out cheekily and put one finger over her mouth; she wasn't going to say anything.

That person was clearly someone he wouldn't often think of and he was also someone whose face had never appeared in his memories, yet it was as if...

As if he had waited to see this for a very long time.

"Well... if you really were friends, and A got kicked out..." Zhao Jiatong reasoned, "Then it wouldn't be too surprising that you'd want to see him."

Everyone could hear Gao Qi grumbling at this, but at this point, even he had to accept the friendship between the two demon kings, and there was nothing he, or anyone else, for that matter, could do about it, so he wisely kept his mouth shut.

The scenes at the beginning of the video swept around very quickly. From an empty street to an ordinary apartment building, to a commercial street, it then finally stopped on a man's face.

The man looked very thin and pallid. There were dark shadows under his eyes, but his eyes were still bright and energetic.

It was Zhao Wentu who had not yet become a villager.

"..."

Everyone froze from that.

It wasn't until he saw this video that Qin Jiu realized that the man who had been writing "Brother Qin" here and "Brother Qin" there in the diary was actually a young man who had not yet graduated from university.

Based on Zhao Wentu's haggard appearance in Chasu Village, they had assumed that he was, at least, a middle aged guy, or someone who had graduated a few years ago and was now working a steady office job, or something of the sort...

But no. The guy hadn't even graduated from University, and was, most likely, only in his mid-twenties.

For someone like that, so young and full of life, to be turned into a tired villager, having his name and identity stolen from him, simply because of some sadistic System that refused to let go of them...
