[96] Bloody Carnival: Special Sector

After everyone was finally done with their breakfast, they settled back down in the main room, their stomachs filled with not just their food, but also trepidation for the punishment of the two great masters that was to come.

Unsurprisingly, the two great masters in question were the calmest out of everyone, having waltzed into breakfast later than everyone else, and were currently relaxing on their couch like they were about to watch a movie in the comfort of their homes instead of awaiting punishment by a very pissy, sadistic, homicidal System.

The moderates instantly blanched, especially Gao Qi, who looked like he had aged by several decades.

Yes, they knew that You Huo and Qin Jiu were going to be punished... but in the wake of them literally making out in broad daylight, they had forgotten just where they would be taken to be punished.

Gao Qi's gaze flickered towards You Huo briefly, before instinctively averting his gaze as You Huo glanced back at him.

He had seen how You Huo had ended up the last time he had been punished at the White Light District... and he didn't want You Huo to go through that ever again.

At least, as much as he hated to admit it, Qin Jiu was with him this time...

Gao Qi could only hope that their pride and sense of competition would be so strong that they'd somehow magically refuse to get hurt, just to prove a point that they were superior to the other.

The three elevators in the punishment building were still operating normally; one had a blue light, and another had a red light.

154, Wen Yuan, 021, 078, and Shu Xue all shared an uneasy look, remembering what they had just been discussing that morning during breakfast.

The former was for examinees, and the latter was for invigilators. The elevators take them to different locations.

In addition to those, there was also one with a white light.

Seems like their guesses weren't too far off...

Though, considering that it was literally the only option that hadn't been explained fully the previous time they had seen the Twin Towers, it wasn't that hard to come to this conclusion.

To the majority of the invigilators, that elevator with the white light is very special.

Of course they knew this elevator was special; it was literally called the "Special Punishment Sector", it was in the fucking name... though, to be honest, that really didn't tell them much of anything else either...

While being "special" was usually considered a good thing, when it came to the System... well, its opinions on some things could definitely be considered rather "special".

Though, this particular elevator was still particularly unknown to the current invigilators as well... and they honestly didn't know if it had even been used before; well, it probably had been used at least once before by You Huo and Qin Jiu, considering that it was literally on You Huo's punishment record...

It would usually remain in a "sleeping" state all year round and would always be stopped at the first floor because the opportunity to use it was few and far between.
