* it's been a few days since Logan has been on a mission and the X-men are in a meeting room listening to the Pr*\\ Pr tonight we have been invited to the senators ball, personally and due to that I believe there is a personal agenda to this. Although we are in the public eye it is in our best interests to demonstrate peace between both of our minds and show unity in public. I know this is a not our mission we like and we can't let our guards down. Tonight at 6pm I want everyone party ready. Ladies you will each get to chose out your dress in a nearby boutique and I'll personally get you * all the girls are talking* I'll have a car to take you girls to gather your dresses* everyone leaves as Kitty lingers back and the Pr looks at her smiling *\\ Pr- ah Kitty, what is it child?// Kitty- as much as I love the idea of wearing a big  nice gown and living in a fairy tale Pr you and I know something is gonna happen tonight\\ Pr- I'm aware but you need to be on guard, I know I can trust you to be charming * he chucked and Kitty looks aside smirking*\\ Kitty-best behavior I promise// Pr- your father will be attending I'm sure if it* she looks aside anxious*\\Pr- go chose your dress and hold your head up high, show them what true nobility is * she looks aside sheepish* now go * all the girls to chose dresses and get back to the mansions and Kitty goes back puts her dress in her room and gets to the danger room to see Piotr, Hank and Storm in the danger room*\\   Hank- hello// Kitty- observing I see, how are you?// Hank- knowledge is power and I am brilliant thank you, and yourself// Kitty- I'm okay, a bit nervous for tonight, seems like a trap don't you think* he takes off his glasses sighing*\\ Hank- yes, that or just to rile us up and see the outcome. Whatever the reason we have to keep level headed and our Witt's about us, shouldn't you be getting ready?// Kitty- I should but I'd rather get a training in first// Hank- I just hope that Alex and Bobby can keep their cool// Kitty-yeah good luck to that// Piotr- Kitty *he waves* come, join me in a sparing session// Kitty- that's my cue * walks over and runs at Piotr to tackle him and he does not move*\\ Kitty- ow * he chuckles and looks aside shocked kitty looks  and he swipes Kitty's feet from under her and she hits the floor with a thud*\\ Piotr- you Americans girls, always falling for a man with an accent * she looks up annoyed*\\ Kitty- sly dog* Kitty blasts him with her powers and he falls back*\\ Piotr- clever cat  * they're fighting as Storm is trapped in a box and she screams hysterical as Kitty stops*\\ Kitty- stop STOP!! * runs to Storm as the simulation is halted and the box opens Storm is hysterical on the floor having a panic attack as Kitty is comforting her on the floor arm around her trying to calm her*\\ storm- I am okay sorry I'm so sorry * stands up* // Kitty- come on let's go get a drink * they walk to a table in the meeting room and sits beside her*\\ Storm- you think me as stupid// Kitty- no, trauma does that to people your reaction is completely normal and understandable, you wanna talk about it?... I get panic attacks too * storm looks at Kitty*\\ Storm- we are hero's we are not meant to be scared // Kitty- everyone gets scared of something it's normal, it doesn't matter if we are hero's or not we're human well somewhat even mutant get scared// Storm- claustrophobia of all things// Kitty- did something happen to you?// storm- yes, when I was a child, my parents died in an explosion. I was buried under the rubble for 3 days  those memories that feeling just doesn't go away * kitty hugs her*// Kitty- storm that's trauma a logical response to that. You survived you're here and having a fear that great or normal but you're okay now you're safe you're with us you're home and I'm here to help you * she hugs kitty back*\\ storm- the feelings just never go away, I'm pains me every night it triggered my mutation that is my silver lining. Being brought up in Cairo as a street rat toughened me up but my mind... the feelings still raw, still fragile and I feel like I'm still that little  scared child // Kitty- you are strong woman look at how far you've come you are an x-men a living super hero that saves the day just like in the comic books you'd read as kids. You make a difference you save people and help you face enemies and killers and bad people every day they'd pretty amazing// Storm- thank you so much\\ Kitty- you know what I'm scared of?... bugs ah I can not deal with them they scare me * Kitty shivers as Storm chuckles* our fears don't define us, we define us snd you've made yourself into an incredible person no matter your past * Kitty smiles at her as Hank looks at her with pride and the Pr beams proudly at her and she puts her head down sheepish*\\  Pr- storm, how are you my dear?// Storm- I am fine Charles, I think it's time I get myself ready and power through * she stands smiling* thank you all, the support of you all I would not be here if it was not this team. Tonight we will celebrate * she walks away*\\ Pr- you're troubled *Kitty looks up then away* I know you are anxious Kitty// Kitty- I want to stay here just in case anything happens but I can't risk anything happening at the party*\\Pr- forge is here if we need it this is a chance for us introduce ourself and what we are about to the rest of the government, we're not just hero's we are people too\\ Kitty- yeah I know// Pr- kitty is something else bothering you? Perhaps I could help... I'm here to listen to you// Kitty- how do you do it? All the stress of the school the politics the meetings the teaching and still be a good person, how do you balance everything and still be so calm and grounded?* he pauses and he thinks for awhile*// Pr- this is all I've ever wanted to do, teach to make a difference. I didn't think I would make it this far let alone have all this and my own team. I've been fortunate and blessed my whole life and I have these gifts  and I'm going to use them to be the best versions of myself I can and teach others that we are humans too, we are the same just because we have these abilities it does not mean we are bad. I want a world of peace but not everyone what's the same things. I get by because I want nothing more then peace and happiness in this world that's my purpose that's why I keep going * kitty is listening carefully and she nods understanding*\\ Kitty- I want that too * she smiles* I better get ready// Pr- you've got this, I believe in you * she walks away looking upset and confused and very emotional and gets in the shower listening to music and starts getting ready doing her hair and make up then she looks at her dress nervous and at her arms at the scars then in the mirror at herself in her underwear as she puts on her dress and puts a strap on her thigh with a knife in it and smiles looking at herself not wearing sleeves for once but mostly covered by make up and she walks out of her room from the main steps of the mansion and people turn to look at her shocked*\\ Piotr- wow *in russian* Katya you look incredible// Kitty- *russian* thank you, you look very handsome in your suit * he blushes*// Rogue- I still think you should've went with the burgundy ballgown// Jean- hey red is my color and sometimes less is more// Rogue- is that why your dress is very revealing huh?And anyway my gown is a statement piece\\ Jean- hey they was rude// rogue-I'm kidding, you look amazing red // Jean- I feel it, we have to take some pictures, Scott take some photos * she hands he phone to Scott who takes pictures of the girls and storm walks down the stairs in a beautiful dress*\\ Hank-beautiful Ororo//Pr- now are we all ready to leave// Alex- yes now can we please go?// Scott- Alex please be normal and remember we're setting an example and don't drink too much// Kurt- don't suck the fun out of it man, we get to party// Jean- Scott is right we need to be careful// Pr- into the limos everyone let's go now * they drive to the venue and walk in along a red carpet meeting people and smiling and talking and posing for photos Kitty is nervous as they walk in the venue at people dancing and drinking*\\ Angel- don't worry guys you get used to these things * they are handed champagne*\\ Jean- this is the fanciest thing I'm ever gonna get to see, come on scott I want to dance * kitty spots Bruce talking to people and signals her over and she walks towards him and he kisses her head*\\ man- new squeeze Wayne? Where did you find her?* the people all snicker*\\Bruce- this is my daughter Katherine Pryde// kitty- call me Kitty// Man 2- this is your famous god daughter then? The newest X-man// Bruce- indeed, and I couldn't be prouder * wraps arm around her hugging her as they all talk and make sly remarks at mutants as the senator joins the discussion and Kitty looks at him*\\ Kelly-hello I don't believe we have met * they shake hands*I am am senator Kelly// Kitty- hello, it's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Kitty Pryde * he looks taken aback but smiles*\\ Kelly-the newest recruit in the x-men, I hope that you are enjoying your time here I thought it would be a remarkable gift from my end to invite your kind\\ Kitty-that would be racist under any other circumstances but I'm glad that you have widened your mind to extend the hand of friendship to mutants// Kelly-the ones who behave can be functioning members they just need to learn some authority// Kitty- on the contrary Senator all people both humans and mutants have free will to make their own choices, behaviors isn't defined by a gene or an ability. I think rehabilitation and education for both would be beneficial  for better co existence and tackling mutant violence and hate crimes would lower chances of violence// Kelly- yes well I didn't think of it like that way...Kitty, you have a point miss Pryde but not everyone  can be educated like yourself. There are thousands of mutants who do not think the same way as you// Kitty- and billions who want nothing more then peace: we shouldn't be feared because we have gifts. If you educate those instead of fear and persecution that would be a better world\\ Kelly- walk with me miss Pryde * she does to the corner where he looks at at Kurt and Hank*\\ Kelly- mutants like that their appearance is intimidating don't you think// Kitty- didn't your mother ever teach you don't judge a book by it's cover? I agree first glance that it can shock you but Hank McCoy is the smartest man you would ever meet and Kurt Wagner has had violence and  shame his whole life and still has the kindest generous heart despite it all. It's not about about how people look because everyone is individual and made how we are, you wouldn't punish someone for having a disability or for looking different, colour and skin tones? Because that's racist and wrong so why are we also spreading hate to people who have these features?// Kelly-racism is not my goal I assure you, I am trying to be open minded about the gifts as you call them but what about the ones they don't comply and use their powers to their own advantage and harm people?// Kitty- what about the people who kill and hurt and murder and steal and rape and abuse? Who are not mutants but still have power to do these things? You put collars on us which I agree sometimes they're needed but on innocent people . Your robots they kill and hunt us like animals if we step out of line. I think that the MRD are the worst thing you could've  possibly done and I myself have witnessed first hand the abuse and torture they do at those places. I get you're afraid of these people but singling them out and making them prey to be hunted and hated is just driving a wedge between humanity and bringing technology into it is just a whole other war all together. What about people who aren't mutants and have powers or aliens or magic? * he looks at her eyes narrowed* how're you gonna fight those people without mutants and other powers? Education, understanding and acceptance is all we ask. Now I don't know if anything I say is going to make a difference and  I'll never understand why you are so afraid of us but we aren't targets we're just people who can do amazing things and we need to be guided because it's scary for us it's even scarier when you can't accept yourself and you're being beaten, tortured and killed for it. If it was you or your children you wouldn't want that you'd lash out too. We do anything to protect the ones we love and to find a place we belong, let's try working together instead* there is a long pause and he nods*// Kelly- I hear what you're saying and I'll take that into consideration * he looks at her and smiles annoyed*\\ Kelly- you're a smart woman, wise beyond your years* he nods and walks away*\\ Logan- it's a great speech * shes smiling as Logan stands there hands in his pockets smiling at her* could use a bit of work though * she sighs smiling at him as he walks towards her*// Kitty- hi * she can't stop smiling and she hugs him and he holds her tight*\\Logan- hey baby, are you alright?// Kitty- of course, what about your mission// Logan- breaking Bruce banner out of government rejects place, no problem although Hulk isn't my number one fan, sorry you had to miss your little dinner with Steve, he said he'll take you out when he's free * Kitty laughs* I was up in Canada near my old home// kitty- did it bring back a lot of memories?// Logan- just the ones I already knew, wanna dance?// Kitty- of course * he holds her hand to the dance floor as they begin to slow dance*\\ Kitty- people are looking\\ Logan- let them, just focus on me, keep looking into my eyes * she's looking in his eyes and her heart is beating fast and she feels so happy*\\ Logan- what? * looks at her confused* come on what is it?// Kitty- nothing * she smirks*\\ Logan- you look beautiful you know that that\\ Kitty- thank you* she's blushing and so nervous and can't hold contact and Logan is looking down at her smirking*// Logan- you're so pretty, look at you perfect// Kitty- you're making me so nervous// Logan- that's because you're attracted to me  *pulls her closer to him with his hand on her lower back*\\ Kitty- I think you know how I feel// Logan- weak at the knees huh?// Kitty- shut up * laughs as Logan tenses while looking aside Kitty looks aside at Kelly looking over to them and whispering*// Kitty- what're they saying?// Logan- you don't want to know// Kitty- what are they saying// Logan- they're calling you Charles's prized little princess and saying they the Pr only had you here because you've got a pretty face and... fuck this * grabs her hand and walks away pulling her along with him as Kitty gives the group  dirty looks*//Pr- let us tske some photos, I know we'll all be dying to look on them tomorrow *  they are all posing for photos by the photographers , Logan never leaves Kitty's side as she looks aside to him he looks at her and she smiles as the flashes of the camera are going off\|Logan- I think it's time to go use them femininity to your advantage, go charm them// Kitty- I don't want too\| Logan- you can do it go on * she gives Logan an annoyed look and walks over smiling to the group of government workers talking to them laughing and  small talk then eventually she walks talking to Jean*\\ Pr- Jean can you cover a mission\\ kitty- I can go\\ Pr- Jean is more suited I think, I think you're needed here * kitty walks away to Bruce as a waiter hands her another glass and she drinks looking annoyed*\\ Bruce- what is it?// Kitty- I didn't sign up for this part I just wanted to be a hero not have to do stupid talks with stuck up people who literally are repulsing// Bruce- you're doing your part politically\\ Kitty- I don't know about politics Bruce I don't even know what to say to these people I'm not sure what the right thing to say is and they don't care they don't listen// Bruce- you don't know that, you seem to be doing a great job at getting your point across getting your rights as a human with a mutation across// Kitty- whatever I say means nothing, all they care about is women or money And stuff like that. I don't want to do too much and make them think I'm annoying. For minute thought it was a normal night// Bruce- it can be normal * she walks away to a hallway to calm her anxiety*\\ Warren- hey\\ Kitty- hello, you okay?// Warren- as much as I can be keeping my wings hidden\\ worthington- Warren, hello miss Pryde \\ Warren- hello father, looking well// Kitty- I'll leave you to it * smiles* nice to see you again sir// Worthington- you too my dear * she smiles and walks away looking at the pictures*// senator-hello * stands beside her* I have a few questions I would like to ask if you could politely come with me// Kitty- is everything okay?// Kelly- of course I was wondering why are you not wearing the collars provided or a dart// Kitty- I wasn't aware it was mandatory , I thought it would be a great chance to show they we can retain from using her powers in day to day life// Kelly- I would feel very safer if you would to show were on the same page * looks at him*\\ Kitty- I'm not sure we are * looks at him annoyed* I'm not gonna wear a collar so you feel more In control of the situation . I don't need my powers// Kelly- so prove it * she looks annoyed*// Kitty- excuse me * turns around and there are 4 other men stood giving her dirty looks*\\ Kitty- look I'm sorry I have to go * a man walks out from corridor and she walks around the man and he steps in front of her and she backs up and exhales*\\ Kitty-please don't start something*\\ * she's shot with a dart on the back of her shoulder * gasps and she looks at them all annoyed*\\ Kelly- this doesn't need to get out of hand, we just wants a few minutes of your time is all come follow me * a man grabs her she pushes him off looks at him annoyed and she's led down a few corridors and taken into a room with people in there*// Kelly- not all mutants some of them are decent , some can be brought in and trained as bounty hunters// Kitty- bounty hunters? No that's messed up// Kelly-this is gonna end one way in peace and if mutants will not listen then we will use mutants to fight mutants and I think you would be a great asset to my new project , I could talk you the ins and outs or you could sign a contact and start right away * Kitty rolls her eyes and turns her back a man grabs her and she elbows him in the face and flips him*\\ Kelly- I really want you as an ally not an enemy\\ Kitty- I'm not your enemy but I'm not your ally either * a man walks in the door and her eyes widen in shock*\\ Sabertooth- and what about me?// Kelly- it's gonna work one of both ways. One being you join and persuade your team to join the other being we let this abomination kill you and use your death as ammunition for Wolverine and the other rejects// Kitty- it's like you freaks just copy and paste the same plan and why the hell am I the one in the middle? This is getting boring now// Sabertooth- it's a sweet deal, you'll be throwing away a lot don't be a fool kid. Wherever we go we're gonna be outsiders might as well use that  to our advantage and get above the rest * he walks in front of her* you chose the wrong team, and the wrong brother * smirks*\\  .* Kitty looks at the dart gun grabs it shoots Sabertooth kicks the man and sprints out the door running as fast as she can in he heels and dress down the hallways and gets to the entrance door but decides against it she looks at the Pr signals and SOS then runs out the stairs sabertooth chasing her trying to shake him until she's stopped by men with guns and she is stuck she runs back the way she came and sees Sabertooth walking towards her*\\ Kelly- stay! I'll give you another chance I know you're smarter than this you're a nice looking girl don't waste it * she glares at him he sighs looking up at the ceiling then at her looking fed up*\\ Kelly- kill the kid * sighs and walks away as he pounces on her as she backs away but she hits the ground as he's trying to grab her arms she is groaning trying to push him off as he's laughing and flashing his fangs and she takes her knife yelling and fighting back and stabs him in the throat multiple times he backs away looking at her with eyes bulging and she gets up and runs*// Kitty- always me * rounds the corner as bullets and she jumps back behind the corner waits and as soon as one shooter turns the corner  she grabs the gun slams it into his face a few times until the man drops*\\ then she takes the gun goes to shoot then realizes she can't and can't go back to the party either*\\ man- FREEZE MUTANT// Kitty- drop your weapons! That's an order by an agent of shield// Sabertooth- you're not agent anymore you're an x- man * kitty shoots at him and he runs toward her she hits him with the gun and he takes it and throws it, they're both fighting with Sabertooth having the upper hand due to her being in a dress and heels and his super strength*\\ Sabertooth- come quietly kid I'll make it quick// Kitty- no surprise there, bet the women in your life are disappointed * he smirks looking amused*\\ Sabertooth- I see why my brother likes you// Kitty- half brother// Sabertooth- you've got spunk kid I'll give you that * she snickers* easily amused// Kitty- yeah well you're boring me now, I have no idea why you're buying into this fake bounty hunter thing they're just turning mutants on mutant and you're turning in your own kind. You're unreliable you'll be locked up in no time // Sabertooth- is that why they busted me outta your little shield prison// Kitty- it's your fault you were there in the first place. Just think for a second because you're always someone's lackey// Sabertooth- I'm nobody's lackey, but I am a merc for hire I don't care what team I'm on// Kitty- you know for someone who's been in the shadows a long time you'd think you'd want to fight for your rights// Sabertooth- do I strike you as someone who holds up signs and chants save the trees to you? * she just looks at him annoyed and not bothered anymore*// Kitty- I don't care what side you're on we're done here just let me pass please// Sabertooth- oh no you're my first mission and I like to play with my food first * she looks at him annoyed then exhales visibly annoyed*\\Kitty- Logan's gonna be here any minute * she looks up the corridor at the fire alarm and has an idea to pull it she squares up with him as he rushed towards her she kicks him in the ribs as he try's to grab her runs to the alarm pulls it as Sabertooth grabs her from behind and she screams out of shock and fear as the alarms are ringing, he's carrying her away as she's screaming begging to be let go as he's laughing finding it amusing and ignoring her cries for help, he walks her to another room kicks the door open walks in and he turns to close the door as Logan is there claws out glaring*\\ Logan- cat goddamn you had to get caught// Kitty- does this look like my idea of fun to you? // Sabertooth- it's my idea of fun baby brother, you scrub up well don't you// Logan-put her down and let's get this over and done with so I can beat your ass and go back to the party * he lowers her off his shoulder she punches him but he catches her arm swings her around and puts her in a headlock// Kitty- Kelly shot me with a dart he's trying to persuade mutants  to be a bounty hunters in return for protection.he doesn't want peace none of them do// Sabertooth- shut up kid, got a good opportunity here, you of all people should know that Jimmy// Kitty- this isn't about peace Logan this is about showing us up and recruiting mutants to turn against other mutants * he chokes her tighter she gasps*\\ Sabertooth- shut up, Jimmy listen// Logan- get off her! NOW VICTOR!!!// Sabertooth- stay where I can see you little bro// Kitty- please just let me go * he chokes her tighter smirking at Logan who's visibly angry and nervous*\\ Sabertooth- never have a weakness that can be exploited, didn't you learn anything the last time * Logan is swarmed by 40 men tacking him and he's trying to get to Kitty who's trying to fight off victor and reach her hand out to Logan who try's to grab it but they're pulled apart shouting for one another as Logan is being tazzed and Kitty is shaking screaming for Logan tears in her eyes as she's taken back to the men*\\ Kelly- you're not the smartest are you , Xavier used you for looks and that's it * looks at her studying her body and shakes his head* no I don't want her I want the Phoenix and I want Angel and the Wolverine oh and get me that Rogue one she had good gifts the rest can be hunted * walks to Kitty glaring* I would say it's nice to meet you but the only nice part about you is your looks kid, unfortunately you're too stupid to listen\\ Bruce- get the hell away from my daughter// Kitty- no you need to leave please just go// Kelly- Mr Wayne your daughter has attacked me I'm at my own party, she's tried to assault me and you think that's acceptable* he walks closer*\\ Bruce- I have video proof of you verbally assaulting my daughter, holding her hostage and threatening mutant lives, I think it's time we made this public, see what everyone  has to think of this corrupt government and bounty hunters?// Kelly- easy there Mr Wayne accusations are a dangerous thing// Bruce- exactly * he stare down Kelly hands in his pockets and pulls out the phone smirking as Kelly signals to Sabertooth to let her go he grabs her throat smelling her hair and Bruce glares his whole body ready to attack and she's let go and walks to Bruce and he looks around and then walks away Kitty behind him*\\ Kitty- we have to help Logan// Bruce- I think he's big enough to handle himself// Kitty-NOW! * he looks at Kitty stunned at her reaction then sighs as Kitty runs off he follows behind her as they follow the noise of grunts and yelling and blood and follows them to find Logan panting as the men are all on the floor*\\ Bruce- see he can handle himself * Logan walks up undoing his bow tie*\\ Logan- was you worried for me cat? * he smiles as she frowns annoyed he looks her up and down and smirks, her frown fades as she looks aside smiling and blushing*\\ Logan- think it's our turn to leave// Bruce- me too, are you gonna be okay * she hums* can you look after her// Logan- of course * Bruce kisses kitty's head and walks away as Logan walks and Kitty follows closely*\\ Logan- you're okay * she hum as Logan looks at her* stay with me okay? You're okay * she nods as Logan holds her hand and they walk back to the party round up the mutants and spread the word to all leave as Kitty is by a door watching people leave and on edge and worried as she sees Sabertooth talking to a group of girls and grabs one as she walks up grabs a cheese knife and throws it into his throat as the Pr looks at her shocked and she freezes knowing she shouldn't have done that as Sabertooth pulls it out she glares at him he glares and throws it back at her she catches it in her hand spins it around she looks at Charles looking at her and blinks Trying to snap out of self destruction mode her eyes well up as she drops the knife and walks away as Logan looks at the Pr and she sees men grab Rogue and drag her away the others are busy fighting and she rushes away pushing past people*\\ Pr- Kitty fall back we need to leave// Kitty-they have Rogue Pr// Pr-I'll get you back up, go * she runs off pushing past people takes out 2 causes and takes their gun and walks around kicking the doors looking for Rogue and she clears one floor taking out soldier and gets In a room and sees them all and a rogue is being held by 2 men*\\ Kitty- let go of her, now!... * she shoots one in the arm* NOW * they let Rogue go snd she runs beside Kitty as there is a gun shot and Rogue collapses to the floor yelling in pain she leans down looking at Rogues side and shoots the hand of the man who shot her as they run off Kitty looks at Rogues side she's withering in pain as she rips open her dress to see the wound that's bleeding badly and she's in a panic and she presses against her wound as Rogue screams*\\ Rogue- Kit help please don't leave\| Kitty- no I'm here you're gonna fine just a graze that's it you're okay trust me * kitty rips her own dress and wraps it around rogue who is in tears and she tightens it as hard as she can reassuring Rogue and then helps her up*\\ Kitty- put your arm around me and stay awake okay?
