* during the night while the team are asleep, Kitty is woken up to noises as she turns over sighing in her sleep as she is roughly shaken awake she jumps freaking out and gasps panting as Logan is in her face*// Logan- get your stuff and move * Kitty is frozen in fear as he pulls her up and kicks Warren waking him up and shouting order, Kitty grabs her bag as Logan shoves her towards the truck leaving the sleeping bags as a sentinels crashes past the team and Logan jumps on it cutting his head off with his claws*// Piotr- that sentinel is 7ft tall!! * more sentinels start to shoot at them as Kitty hits one away as multiple grenades are thrown at them*// Logan- GRENADE * before anyone can react the truck explodes causing the whole team to be thrown back*// * Kitty is on the floor struggling to move or see as her ears ring and shouts she doesn't recognize are heard, she rolls to her side looking at a sentinel who is pointing his hand at her and Logan throws himself in front of the blast as he yells in pain before attacking it, Kitty slowly pulls herself to stand as Logan pulls her up by her arm and grabs her face*// Logan- are you alright * Kitty nods still dazed and her ears still ringing*// Logan- grab the laptop and run * Kitty grabs her bag and puts it on*// Warren- THIS WAY// * Kitty runs to Warren as they both run away from the sentinels and soldiers*// Kitty- why are we running// Warren- they know we have the names of all involved... yeah Logan told me my dad is an investor... seems like we can't all have good rich dads hey * Warren smirks at Kitty as they run, 4 sentinels fly over and land as Kitty takes them out using her powers before Warren lifts her up and she grabs onto his neck as he fly's up in the air*// Kitty- I don't feel good about leaving the team behind// Warren- Logan will find us, for now we need to keep that safe until the others come back * sentinels are behind them as Kitty takes them out and a blast hits Warren in the back as he drops Kitty and they both free fall * Kitty is yelling*// Kitty- WARREN!!!! * Warren dazed as he flaps his wings and Kitty looks on in shock as he manages to catch himself and fly then dive down for Kitty as he grabs her and she grabs onto him in fear as they land on the ground. Kitty looks at Warren as he grabs his side in pain and she looks up to the sentinels circling above as Kitty takes them out tossing them aside*// Kitty- we're sticking to the ground// Warren- fine by me// Kitty- are you sure you're okay?// Warren- yeah, c'mon * they run to some canyons to find shelter and eventually stop between some canyons as they stop to catch there breath*// Warren- I need to catch my breath// Kitty- we have enough cover here* she sits down and takes out a radio*// Kitty- *radio* where are you guys... hello?// Logan- *radio* we're out in the open here, there's too many. Warren, I need you to take that laptop and take it back// Warren- that's a long flight// Logan- we're gonna draw the attention out on us. you need to get out of here, that laptop holds the key to finding mastermold// Warren- what about Kitty// Logan- sit tight, I'll come find you, when Warren leaves // Kitty- I hope you have a plan Wolverine// Logan- I do, now just listen, keep the radio on you pryde, gotta go * Kitty and Warren look at one another// Kitty- I don't want you to go alone// Warren- Kitty, I have too. it will be okay * Kitty looks aside before they hug*// Warren- I'll be okay, just make sure you cover my back okay?* he smiles as she hands the bag t him as he takes off and Kitty is left there watching him go higher and higher as she walks out into the open and watches Warren before seeing some sentinels approaching and she hits them on the floor and watches Warren go out of sight*// Kitty- *radio* I'm gonna draw the sentinels from Warren to me. I'll head back the way I came// * Kitty heads back while phasing to make sure the sentinels approach her, sentinel after sentinel approaches as she takes them out, as she walks in the desert for awhile*// Kitty-* radio* where are you guys?.... Logan?... guys?// Stryker- Hi baby...where are you hiding? I'll come find you real soon * Kitty is frozen in fear* your friends didn't do a good job against my new sentinels * she sits back on the floor as her eyes well up* what's wrong cat got your tongue? * she sighs*// kitty- *softy she speaks* I will fucking kill you// Stryker- you've tried, give yourself up to the MRD and hand back the drive and I'll let you leave this island alive, you have until tonight * she covers her eyes with her hand as she sits back against the base of some cliffs and stares into space for a long time deciding what to do. after some time she stands up and checks her weapons, 1 gun, 2 knives, as she walks away and walks before she sees sentinels flying and she shoots them down before seeing a truck approaching, she shoves one blade inside the boot and then puts the other in her bra as she walks towards the truck arms raised and she stops and watches as the truck approaches her and 3 soldiers get out screaming at her to stand down as a collar is put on her and she is cuffed as 2 soldiers grab an arm*// man 1- *radio* we got her sir, cuffed and collared // Stryker- bring her into base 2// man 1- copy that sir// man 2- move * she is shoved and made to walk as Logan punches the man in the head*// Kitty- what the hell are you doing here?// Logan- saving you, what does it look like// Kitty- you are ruining the plan Logan// Logan- I'm saving you then busting the others out of the base// Kitty- and I am trying to get in the base, you are ruining my plan// Logan- getting captured isn't really helping// Kitty- I just said I had a plan, do you not listen// Logan- so you get in and they drug you, what are you gonna do the// Kitty- just shut up, the plan is to get in and blow the place up// Logan- how?!// Kitty- because I was gonna hack into the place and see if there is any fail safe// Logan- it won't// Kitty- then I'll find their little grenades and burn the place down// Logan- better *he smirks* is this the part I play helpless victim too * she looks annoyed*// Kitty- yes, so those men better wake up soon// Logan- yeah, but we have time to go over the plan// Kitty- I thought we already did * she smirks*// Logan- make sure you set off those alarms. we find the others before we start any fires// Kitty- that goes without saying * a soldier hits Logan in the head with a gun and Logan looks aside at him*// man 3- hands in the air * Logan sighs looking annoyed and raises his hands as he is cuffed and collared and both of them are loaded into the vans and sit down opposite one another as the doors are closed and they smile t one another and Logan leans forward smiling and so does Kitty as he leans in to kiss her and she looks at him a bit shocked*// Kitty- don't do that// Logan- do what?// Kitty- kiss me, don't play games because you're bored// Logan- fine I won't kiss you// Kitty- you don't mean it// Logan- I do // Kitty- no you don't, you're taking advantage of the fact none of the others are here and you're feeling cocky// Logan- fine, I just said I won't kiss you * he smiles and sits back sighing*// Kitty- it's not a game for me// Logan- I never said you were a game// Kitty- no but you keep blowing hot and cold and you're acting like you are ashamed to be with me. it's always on your terms and when no one is around. I don't want to be like that, I deserve better// Logan- yeah you do// Kitty- no, to be treated better. you are not messing me about because you are bored * Logan sighs*// Logan- I want to be with you but I can't, I'll lay off the mixed signals darling, I'm sorry *she looks aside annoyed* gonna be a long ride in silence// Kitty- there's nothing else to talk about // Logan- there is.. pryde... I watched Omega Red stab you so we couldn't have kids, he hurt you because of me and now you might never become mother and you have to bare those scars and it's hard for me sometimes. when I get to close to you I just think of someone else hurting you because of me// Kitty- it's my choice to be with you, I'd choose it a billions times over if it meant being with you and getting a chance at happiness// Logan- I'm not your happiness... you're right you do deserve better... you need to be with someone else// Kitty- I just always seem to go for the ones I can't have * she sighs* you don't realize what you mean to me// Logan- feelings change, you need to find someone better// Kitty- I don't need someone. i'm doing fine by myself// Logan- now I know that isn't true, after Alex we all need time to recover and take down the MRD then we will see what happens// Kitty- I'm not gonna waste my life waiting for you// Logan- I have all the time in the world, you don't. don't waste it on me // Kitty- yeah, okay * she gives him a looks and he closes his eyes and leans his head back on the truck wall*
