*kitty is alone in her room sitting on the side of the bed knees up thinking about the events of the last few days and her near fatal drowning, her chest feels heavy and her head a mess from thoughts as she has been locked in her room refusing to leave the door knocks as she gets up to answer it*\\ Fliss- so this is Hogwarts hey? * Kitty is looking at her teary eyed and hugs her* hey what is it?\\ kitty- I'm just glad you're here I have not seen you in forever, wait why are you here*they go inside*\\ Fliss- because you were being cryptic So naturally I called to see if I could come and someone called Xavier I think said it was okay, plus I wanna see the hunks around her*pushed her glasses to her nose smiling*\\ Kitty- let me just get ready, you are lucky that I'm not working\\ Fliss- on yeah, wait until they find out America's hero is actually British\\ Kitty- shh don't ruin my secret, you good?\\ fliss I mean my mom got off with a boy I liked so fun *she looks down*\\ Kitty- you know yourself she has not been right since your dad so shes just getting by, I don't know she's seeking validation or midlife crisis I dunno\\ Fliss- yeah well it is a reason I am alone\\ Kitty- what am I then?\\ Fliss - yeah you're okay I guess * Fliss smirks as they go on a tour and a group are in training as Fliss is staring at Alex*\\ Kitty- close your mouth, you got some drool *Fliss wipes her mouth but continues to watch Alex training  and she looks at Logan who looks at her she gets flustered*\\ Fliss-wipe your mouth*smirks as alarms go off and they rush off Kitty grabbing Fliss's hand to the meeting room and the Pr beckons Fliss in*\\ Pr - we've got an incident quick as you can, some mutants causing some problems, shield is there for standby.Felicity you are welcome to stay here and observe with me\\ Fliss - thank you * they get dressed get on the jet and fly to the coordinates*

What seems to be the problem this time?// Pitero- thought it wouldn't be long before you dickheads show up// storm- charming as always// Logan- let's just make this quick, you got a chance to come quietly// peitro- can't do that sorry we got plans\\ Kitty- no sentinels?// Logan- what you thinking\\ Kitty-I don't know it just seems set up like another stage for us to play * Logan nods at her*\\ Logan-yeah, this doesn't seem right * the ground shakes as Jean uses her powers to knock him over and Blob runs at them as colossus charges at him and Kurt starts to grapple with toad *\\ Storm- you think this is a diversion Shadowcat?// Kitty- no I just it don't fit right with me * she blasts pietro away and exhales* it don't make sense sentinels aren't here when they're always at a scene like what are they doing they don't have a purpose anyway but to cause trouble and show off but this is too set up for me// Angel- I agree, something doesn't sit well with this we're ins  public space and all they're doing is showing off but no sentinels when it's a disturbance of the peace*\\ Peitro- care for a ride * grabs Scott and slams him into the side of a building as Bobby try's to freeze his legs and toad jumps on his back*\\ Bobby- Get off me you slimy little fuck * throws him over his shoulder and shadowcat examines her surroundings and makes a shield around her as quicksilver  slams into it and is hits back  and Blob throws a bus at wolverine but shadowcat  uses her powers to catch it struggling but lowers it as the ground shakes, havok shoots avalanche who drops to one knee and Logan walks out to him and kicks him in the head as he drops he walks to Toad who yells and rushes away as Storm uses her powers to hit lightening at him and he drops. pyro walks closer looking impressed and shoots fire at everyone that makes them all drop*\\ Bobby- I got this * both men uses their opposite powered to fight as everyone is watching shocked and Kitty notices the people banging on the bus as the door stuck and she rushes to the door as Pietro speeds to grab her she's phasing past him as scoot blasts him off his feet snd she's phases the door open*\\ Kitty- NIGHT CRAWLER! * Kurt pops in and out dropping prior to safety as she turns to see Blob standing behind her she looks up as he try's to grab her as she phases walks through him and he follows her*\\ Blob- what are you a ghost? * she turns and blasts him using her powers as he falls back and colossus puts a collar and cuffs on him and he smiles at Kitty who salutes then uses her powers to grab toad brings him close to her and Rogue attaches a collar on him as he spits at her*\\ Toad- let me go you bitch, put me down// Rogue- you just keep getting ugly and uglier, I got this * Kitty let's go as Rogue cuffs him and walks away, Logan races avalanche to the shield cars and Angel has Pyro as Kitty looks around at the damage to a few stores and the road and she goes to walk away but hears a sniff and looks aside to see a little boy maybe 4 crying beside his father*\\ Kitty- I need help over here * rushes to the little boy who's in shock*\\ Kitty- you're okay shh shh it's okay, come here you're okay your dads gonna be okay * he backs away into a wall*\\ Kitty- we're the good guys okay, should we get your daddy some help, my names Kitty, I'm part of the x- men, are you hurt? * leans by the father and checks his pulse and sees a head injury*\\ storm- on no, this way hurry * kitty walks to the kid and picks him up and takes him away from his father*\\ Kitty- should we go see some of the x-men while your daddy gets some help off the paramedics* he's wiping his tears looking scared* who's your favorite?... it's okay your dads gonna be okay * holds him tight*\\ Boy- cyclops// Kitty- let's go find him shall we? And what's your name?// Carlos- Carlos// Kitty- that's a good name, better than my name * he chuckles while wiping tears*\\ Kitty- cyclops, we have a little fan here * he looks to kitty then the boy* his fathers being treated by the paramedics so we've decided to come say hi to his favorite  x-men, haven't we? *. He nods clinging to kitty*\\ Cyclops- hey buddy, what's your name... * Scott looks at kitty*\\ Kitty- this is Carlos// Scott- nice to meet you little guy * reaches out a hand and Carlos shakes it smiling with tears down his face* so I'm your favorite x-men huh? * he beans proud*\\ Carlos- and Angel\\ Scott- I'll get an update on the dad, why don't you go find Angel and we'll come get you when you're dads ready to go to hospital, see if we can contact your mom?// Carlos- she's in work// Kitty- where does she work?// carlos- she works at the bakery the one by the comic store// Logan- I know the place, should we go find a tissue for your nose * he nods and reaches out for Logan who takes him off Kitty and he flings around Logan's neck and Kitty is just admiring Logan as he looks at her smiles and walks away to the ambulance to see the man opening his eyes*\\Kitty- your son is safe he's with our team just take it easier sir* he exhales* we could take him to his mother, your son said she works at a bakery\\ Man- owns it it's called cake a day takeaway, are you sure he's safe?//Kitty- yes, he with wolverine he seems happy meeting the team, are you happy for us to take him to his mom?// man-yea, can I see him before?// Kitty- of course, I'll go get him * she smiles and runs out to beckon Logan who walks with the kid sill in his arms*\\ Kitty- your dad wants to see you * the kid gasps excited as both Logan and Kitty walk him to his father as he hugs him and they chat awhile and then Logan and Kitty walk to shield and borrow a car and agree to meet back at the mansion and they drive off and take the kid to McDonald's drive thru for something to eat before taking him outside the bakery. Carlos holds both Kitty and Logan's hands as they walk into the building and a woman at the counter does a double take and runs at them and the kid runs and hugs her*\\ woman- Carlos oh my what are you doing here? Where is your father? My son * kissing him and turns to kitty and Logan* what happened? Where is my husband?// Logan-he was hurt earlier today in an attack, he is well and on his way to hospital with a head injury just to be safe// Kitty- we had his permission to bring Carlos here, we would not have found him if it wasn't for your little boy// woman- thank you, thank you so much, how can I repay you, here come and have some cake , have whatever you want I can't thank you enough for keeping my little boy safe and bringing him to me// Kitty- that won't be necessary, we're just glad he's safe and hope your husband has a speedy recovery\\ woman- thank you so much, thank you * hugs her little boy as Logan nods and the little boy hugs Kitty's leg and waves at Logan as they walk away waving*// Logan- you turned down cake * they get in the car* not happy about that// Kitty- you're telling me, I wanted that cake too * they laugh and drive off*\\ Logan- I'm starving, let's go do our report then we can head out for dinner or cake// Kitty-definitely  the cake part , why'd I say no to that?// Logan- because we did it for the people not cake * Kitty exhales and takes a sip of her coke from McDonald's drink as Logan puts hand on her thigh as he drives and she looks at him and he looks in her eyes then back at the road as Kitty puts her hand over his hand as they drive back talking*
