* Kitty is looking at him a huge smile on her face as Erik clears his throat*// Erik- am I interupting?// Logan- yeah, go fuck yourself// kitty- Logan stop it, Erik was a huge part of this mission// Erik- no thanks needed hey * him and Logan are glaring at one another as Kitty's arm is around Logans waist and one hand on his chest as Logan has one arm around Kitty's back*// Kitty- stop it both of you, come on we need to wait for the transport and get these people out of here, we got 2 newborns in that car there so can we just keep this tension for our spare time// Erik- I'll clear the perimeter * he walks off*// Logan- what happened// Kitty- radio went dead and let's just say we did not expect to get this many people out safe// Logan- and deliver a baby// Kitty- I'm just as shocked as you and actually proud. what happened with you?// Logan- we got out over 500 people Piotr was like a wrecking ball you should've seen him// Kitty- that's brilliant news// Logan- we need to rest up, scarlet witch is leading an attack soon on their camp with some hostages, you and I both know why they are taking these people hostage// Kitty- experimenting obviously. is Stryker Jr and senior incharge of this?// Logan- let's just asume that shall we, these friends of hummanity people are like a terror group// Kitty- yeah but they obviously didn't intend us to fight back. when we get people safe we can concentrate more on the fight, I'm just glad you're here // Logan- where else would I be// Kitty- somewhere fighting that's where// Logan- give me a minute and I'll contact base and find out where the transport is * he walks away as she turns to see Hank walking to her as she rushes to him and hugs him*// Hank- it is so good to see you safe and sound// Kitty- you too. how is the team holding up// Hank- they're as good as can be expected, planning an attack soon so we can hit the hostages and then take them down, we have militrey on stand by incasse this get's out of hand// Kitty- and who are they in favor of?// Hank- partial, we don't know the leader of this movement all we can do is asume it is Stryker both of them// Kitty- these friends of humanity people this would not have happened overnight this is tactical with a lot of planning. this is a whole island of mutants being killed and burned to the ground. they're gonna need inside help and we know that leads back to stryker doesn't it// Hank- so much for senator trying to recruit these bounty hunters// Kitty- smells like something Kelly would support and finance on the side, let's just get the fight out the way then we can link this to him or whoever else would be involved * Logan walks back to them// Logan- transport is about 4 hours out but Iv'e spoken to a couple of the agents and we agree that we need to get the newborns back asap so Kurt and Strom are gonna travel back with 2 agents and take them to the palace// Kitty- what, now?// Logan- yeah// Kitty- let me go tell them * Kitty and Logan walk to the car the girls are in as the driver get's in*// Kitty- girls listen up, you and your babies are gonna be escorted back with 2 members of my team Storm and Nightcrawler just so you can get checked over and the babies safe// Lilly- what about you// Kitty- I'm gonna wait here until transport comes for the rest of the group but right now we need both you and the babies safe okay// Logan- we have told the scarlet witch about your kids and they will have midwives on standby waiting on your arrival. you will be safe our team are great at their job// Kitty- okay? I'll see you both there later on okay// Pixie- okay let's do it// Kitty- okay, see you soon * she closes the door as Kurt and storm get in the van and they drive off with another car behind it*// Logan- I'm still in shock that a baby was just born// Kitty- I am still in shock// Logan- you handled it very well// Kitty- tv Logan// Logan- there is no way// Kitty- I swear * they both laugh* you look tired// Kitty- I haven't slept in a couple of days// Logan- have a nap// Kitty- you know I can't, I'll sleep when I know everyone is at the palace// Logan- those fuckers have burned half of their city down// Kitty- I never asked you about these friends of humanity// Logan- terrorist group against mutants, always have those crazy crackheads that think they deserve all the rights and if you don't fit the bill they get angry// Kitty- sounds like a lot of people we know// Logan- these scumbags have military weapons, armor and mutant grade weapons// Kit- Hank and I we're speculating Kelly was funding it// Logan- I had the same thought but we can look into that deeper when we are done here, so far no one has come forth and taken credit for this amnush, well apart from the MRD and FOH// Kitty- the more I am seeing this the more it is making me lose my faith// Logan- people aren't selfish by nature// Kitty- people are the problem in every single case, every problem has come from people weather it be human mutant// Logan- don't dwell on it Kit or you will upset yourself// Kitty- I think we are way past upset, this world and the things we have witnessed is bullshit// Logan- can't argue with you there// Kitty- I have a hate and anger for this world that I don't even want to save it, at this point I don't want to be in it// Logan- hey, focus on the here and now Pryde, Look at me * she does and he sees the anger and sadness on her face* you are getting overwhelmed and you are irritated but just take a breath before it sends you off the deep end. we are doing this because we can't give up on it all now or everyone will give up one by one. one person can make a difference you always say that// Kitty- you have been alive long enough to know a war when you see one * he looks at her taking in what she has said as he looks pissed off* you know I'm right and that this world is shit Logan// Logan- which is why we are trying to save it// Kitty-how? because I don't think this is gonna get any better * he looks at her speechless as tears form in her eyes*// Logan- you need to stop talking like that// Kitty- you know when I used to see these criminals that wanted to watch the world burn... from alterrior motives I get it// Logan- you're talking stupid now Kit, you're tired and you are stressed and you did a great job// Kitty- don't patronize me Wolverine// Logan- you need to stop! take a minute now!// Kitty- why? I don't see the fucking point in any of this// Logan- Pryde keep it together, take a rest// Kitty- stop telling me what to do Wolverine// Logan- that's an order! now you need to keep your emotions in check Pryde, yeah this is traumatic but you don't let emotions show on a mission// Kitty- I'm not showing my emotions this is a fact// Logan- a fact is you are sleep deprived, traumatized and overwhelmed so go rest or take a walk * she is glaring at him as he scowls at her* that is an order Shadowcat!!! * her eyes glare at him until her eyes fill with tears and sadness and she turns her back to him and storms off into the woods walking around for over an hour until she finds a tree and sits under it as tears spill from her eyes, all her emotions are pouring out as she just looks at the dark sky turning morning and she just feels hopless and lost, time passes as she is staring into space as hot tears run down her cheeks and she stares into space, she hears footsteps and ignores them as Logan stands beside her with his mask covering his face, he sits down next to her looks at her then looks into the distance as they just sit in silence*// Kitty- I'm sorry * her voice sounds defeated , Logan exhales before putting his arm around her*// Logan- you got nothing to say sorry about, I was too hard on you// Kitty- no, you had every right to I was lashing out and feeling sorry for myself// Logan- I feel the same way as you I will just never admit it because people need hope they need you to be made of stone... don't make sense does it// Kitty- no it doesn't// Logan- it will be okay in the morning// Kitty- funny, it's morning and I feel worse// Logan- that's because you haven't slept and you get cranky when you don't sleep// Kitty- no I don't// Logan- you do,and you always cry when you don't sleep// Kitty- what?// Logan- I'm being serious * he smiles as she attempts to supress a smile* I know you like I know myself// Kitty- reasuring from someone with memory loss// Logan- that's a low blow Kit * they both smile* just put on a face until we get back then you can cry and get your anger out// Kitty- I'm fine, c'mon let's get back to the people * they stand up and both look at one another as Logan exhales and Kitty leans closer to him as he puts an arm around her back and pulls her closer to him as she wraps her arms around his neck and they both kiss one another before pulling away and kissing again clinging to one another as the kiss is getting more passionate before Kitty pulls away looks at him before kissing him quick as he takes he hand and they walk back to the others hand in hand smiling, as they approach the others Logan lets go of Kitty's hand and he walks away to go talk to agents as Kitty watches him feeling a bit left out as she walks to the group checking on them all and talking to them for a few hours before transport pulls up*// Kitty- alright time to get going, c'mon everyone * everyone is loading people into the trucks and Wolverine is shouting orders to people, after half an hour they are all in the trucks as they speed off, Kitty looks at Logan who has an angry expression sand she places her hand on his arm as he looks at her hand then at her*/// Logan- how you holding up darling// Kitty- as okay as I can be, you?// Logan- yeah I'm alright, we're an hour out from the checkpoint * he puts a hand on her thigh as she stiffens up as he notices and smirks at her as she blushes* it amazes me that you still get nervous// Kitty- are you surprised// Logan- yeah, I am// Kitty- anyway, you haven't said much about this raid on the camp of hostages// Logan- you're not coming, you need time to have a rest and eat// Kitty- I don't think that is fair considering I'm the best asset you have// Logan- you have the best assets Pryde * he squeezes her thigh and he smriks as she smiles back trying not to blush* just have time to rest and then you'll be on point and you can come with us// Kitty- that's more like it// Logan- been a tough couple of days, I thought something bad had happened// Kitty- you know I'm used to it// Logan- anything can go wrong Kit even if it is routine and you've done it a million times// Kitty- I know that but you know me // Logan- I also know killers which is why I was sca- worried for you// Kitty- Logan, you know we're always gonna come back home, it works both ways. because I know you'd come for me and I'd come for you// Logan- yeah, always. I want you close so I know you are safe as I keep telling you * she looks at him staring at his eyes and how beautiful he looks*// Kitty- stop it * she is smiling*// agent-* on radio* wolverine we have a hellicopter ahead and we have a couple of tanks on our tails// Kitty- let me deal with the hellicopter so Erik can't kill anymore people// Logan- * radio* my team will handle the birds, you guys go ahead and we will be right beside you * the truck stops as Kitty and Logan get out a long with other agents as Kitty sees the hellicopter and uses her powers to pull it down as the agents are shooting at the oncoming trucks, Kitty lowers the hellicopter before bending the propellas as shots are fired at them Kitty blocks them as men come running out of the trucks and Logan rushes upto them and deals with it while Kitty hits the trucks back before setting her attention to an agent that has been shot in the chest and helping patch him up*// Wolverine- ALRIGHT MOVE IT!!! * everyone rushes back into the truck as it speeds off, Kitty is still trying to reassure the agent*
