GLEN'S POV
It was two weeks since me and Alex had that little fight. I tried to talk to her but she barely looked at me. I didn't know what was wrong but I had to find out.
I talked to Beth and she told me that Alex was just sad because she missed her home and her friends. But I still didn't believe her about the detention thing.
I was lost in my thoughts when I heard someone calling me. It was Danny.
"What?" I snapped. It was Sunday and me, Mark and Danny were at the park sat on the grass.
"Stop thinking about her, mate or you're going to make a fool of yourself" he said
"Dan's right. You've changed. You're always nervous and you don't laugh anymore. You fell for her so hard" Mark added
"I didn't fall for her!" I said. Well, in some way they were right, but I couldn't mess my friendship with her, more than how much it was already
They laughed. I rolled my eyes at them
"Mate, I can see it from the way you look at her" Danny said
"Shut up" I mumbled.
And in that moment I saw her walking on the pavement near the park.
She was with Beth, Sam and Rina. I stared at her. She had her hair falling just above her shoulders and she was wearing a dark jeans, a white t-shirt and a leather jacket.
Mark, seeing Rina, yelled her name and the girls looked at us.
Alex's gaze was on me and I looked at her in return.
Then they came toward us.
"Hi" Alex said almost like a whisper
"Hey" me and Dan said at the same moment
"Um, Glen, can I talk to you?" Alex said blushing
I was shocked. I nodded and I stood up. We reached an isolated area of the park where we could have talked alone.
We sat on the grass. She looked at me "I'm sorry Glen, I was a bitch to you. I just needed some time alone. You wanted to help me and I repulsed you
I put my arm around her shoulder "Don't worry" I said.
I wanted to ask her why she acted like that but I didn't want to pressure her.
"I missed you" she said laying her head on my chest
"I missed you, too"
We stayed like that for a long time until she spoke again
"If I tell you something, promise me you won't get mad?" she said nervously
I nodded. I was worried about what she was going to tell me but I tried to keep myself calm.
"That day, when I got detention, it wasn't because I had remained blocked in the toilet" she said looking at the ground
She took a deep breath "B-Brittany talked with me" she said
I was getting angry just listening to her name. "And?" I said
"She threatened me" she said
"WHAT?" I shouted as I stood up
"Glen, please, calm down" she said standing up with me
"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN ALEX? What did she say?"
She didn't said anything, and she looked away from me.
"Alex? Please tell me" I said softly
She looked at me again
"She told me to stay away from you" she whispered
I couldn't believe I had been with that bitch for almost a year. She was crazy!
"Glen, promise me you'll act like I haven't told you anything about it, please" she said touching my arm. I didn't know how she did it, but with just one touch she could make me calm down.
"Okay, but you have to promise me that if she comes near you again you'll tell me" I said. She nodded and she smiled at me. We hugged and I felt my heartbeat going faster. I loved it when she was in my arms.
"Let's go to the guys" she said taking my hand. I smiled at her as we reached our friends...
