ALEX'S POV

My mum was afraid of losing us. And I was too. I would have liked to come back to London again, to see my friends again but if it meant that I wasn't coming back with my mum I preferred to stay here. I was getting used to my life in Dublin and honestly I didn't want to leave Glen and my new friends.

Yes, I was worried of what would have happened at the courthouse but I was optimist. My mum was a lawyer after all so she knew how that things worked...

Helen, Glen's mum was at my house to talk to my mum about it. They grew very close and they told each other everything, just like me and Glen.

So, I decided to go to his house to talk to him about that situation.

I knocked at the door and Glen opened it. He greeted me with one of his hugs that made my heart beating so fast that sometimes I thought it could explode. I liked him more than a friend but he probably didn't feel the same way toward me so I decided to hide my feelings and stay just friends; if I would have told him the truth, I would probably lose him.

We went to his room and we sat on his bed.

I looked at the ground for a while until he called me. I looked at him "Is everything okay?" he asked narrowing his eyes at me

I shook my head and I started playing with my fingers. I was nervous about telling it to him but I had to, I needed to...

"My father came to my house" I began "He wanted to talk to my mum" I didn't want to cry in front of him. I had to be strong for my mum and for Jason although he didn't understand what was really happening.

"Me and Jason went upstairs to made them talk and I heard yelling and after a while I heard the door closing. I went downstairs and I saw my mum crying. My dad told her that he wants to take us away from her"

"W-What does it mean?" he asked

"My mum's going to London for the trial for a while and if my dad wins we'll stay with him" I whispered

Glen was silent, he didn't know what to say. Suddenly he hugged me. "You're not going anywhere Alex... nor Jason. He can't do that!" he said

"We are minors so he can do whatever he wants to do" I said crying

"The trial is in two weeks. My mum is hurt, really hurt and so am I. My dad was fine with mum having our custody before we left London. And now?! He changed his mind, and we don't even know why!" I said yelling

Glen ran a hand through his hair "You can't leave me, the guys....not now" he said taking my hand

"I don't want to Glen, I swear" I said and I hugged him again.

Suddenly someone knocked at the door.

"Glen, it's me" it was Helen

"Come in mum" Glen said braking the hug

Helen came in and she closed the door behind her.

She smiled at us with an apologetic smile

"How are you?" she said sitting on the bed joining us

"I don't know" I said

"Alex, sweetie. Your mum told me everything, You won't leave her, I'm sure about it. She's a great mum and she'll win the trial" she said putting an hand on my knee

"And you're staying with us while your mum will be in London" she said smiling

What?! Me and Jason were staying at Glen's house?!

"H-Here?" I asked not sure if I had understood what she had just said. She nodded

I looked at Glen and he was smirking

"thank you" I said

"You're welcome hun. I promised your mum that I will take care of you while she'll be away. We'll have a lot of fun together" she said

I nodded and I hugged her. She was a great woman. She was sweet and caring, and very friendly.

The thought of me and Glen being in the same house was getting me excited but at the same time I was a little nervous of what would happen spending a lot of time with him...
