ALEX'S POV
The weeks flew by and for my mum came the time to go to London. She couldn't stop thinking about the trial. What she would have said or how she would have acted in front of the court.
We were outside my house. My mum was putting her luggage in the boot of Helen's car. She was going with my mum to the airport while me and Jason were staying with Glen.
"I'll be back soon" my mum said as she hugged Jason
"I'll miss you mum" he said
"I'll miss you too little boy" she said ruffling his hair.
"Take care of him Alex" she said looking at me
"Don't worry mum. We'll be fine" I said and then she hugged me.
"I'll try my best to make you two be with me sweetheart, I promise" she said kissing my cheek.
"I know mum. We won't go anywhere" I said
"I love you Alex" she said trying not to cry
"Love you too mum" I said
After that she went in the car and Helen drove her to the airport.
Me and Jason went inside the house. Glen was in the kitchen.
"Hey" he said
"Hey" I whispered
He looked at me "Are you okay?" he asked coming toward me and Jason who was holding my hand
I nodded "what were you doing?"
"I was cooking something... I thought you were hungry" he said
"I am hungry" Jason said
"What would you like to eat?" Glen said as he bent down on his knees to look straight at Jason
"I would like some pizza, please" he said
"Okay then. We'll order pizza" Glen said clapping his hands.
"One for me Too" someone said
I turned around and I saw a guy who had a bag on his shoulder. He had dark hair and blue eyes, just like Glen
"Hello Cole" Glen said
Cole put his bag on the floor and went to the fridge.
"Hello there" he said to me and Jason
"Hi" I said awkwardly
"Alex, Jason, he's my brother Cole. Cole, they are Alex and Jason and they are our guests for the next few weeks" Glen said
He nodded toward us.
"Ooh, she's the girl you won't shut up about! It's a pleasure to meet you!" Cole said smiling
I looked at Glen and he was blushing and he was avoiding my gaze. He was so cute when he blushed and I was happy that he told his brother about me.
"Well, he had never talked to me about you" I said
"What?! It's not fair, Glen!" he said joking
"Stop it Cole" Glen said annoyed
"Hi!" Cole said to Jason
My brother waved at him.
"So, are you going to order the pizza or you want us to starve?" Cole said to Glen
I could tell Cole was very funny and we would have got on well with him.
I had never seen him before, when I came to Glen's house. Maybe because he worked and he was never at home.
