GLEN'S POV
It was Sunday and I was going to spend the day with Alex since my parents were at work and Cole was hanging out with Alex's little brother Jason.
I was watching TV while Alex was upstairs doing God knew what. I was looking for something to watch on TV when suddenly someone yelled in my ear and I got up of the couch scared.
Then I saw Alex lying on the floor, rubbing her belly because she was laughing.
"Alex, you scared me for fuck sake!" I yelled but she kept laughing.
"You...should... have... seen... your... face!" She said trying to breathing regularly.
Suddenly a smirk appeared on my face "If I was you, I would stop laughing now" I said as I went toward her.
She stood up from the floor and she looked at me confused.
She knew what I was going to do "Glen, don't please" she said taking a few steps back.
"Oh, yes I'm going to do it" and then I started running
She started running too, and I tried to catch her.
She was fast at running but in some way I caught her...and we fell on the floor: me on top of her. She was very ticklish so got my revenge.
"No, Glen.... Stop! Please" she said while she laughed
"Promise you won't scare me again" I said as I kept tickling her
"okay, okay I promise"
"What do you promise?"
"not to scare you again... please Glen stop" she said and I stopped, but I kept lying on top of her
She was breathing heavily because of the amount of laughs she had "You're evil!" she said
"I know" I said smirking
She smiled a little and we looked each other straight in the eyes.
Our faces were inches apart and I could feel her breath against my nose. I felt the urge to kiss her, she was so beautiful...
"Alex, Glen!" A little voice screamed
Suddenly Alex pushed me off her and I fell on the ground beside her. And she stood up from the floor and spoke
"Jason! What are you doing here? Where is..."
"I'm here!" Cole said entering the room
"What were you two doing?" Cole added smirking
"He was tickling me!" Alex said
"Well, you started first" I said as I stood up.
"I guess you were having fun" my brother said laughing a little while he was climbing the stairs.
I shook my head at him. "Are you hungry?" I said to Jason and Alex
"YES!" Jason said at the same time Alex said "Not at all"
"Mh, okay then... I should cook something for you" I said to Jason and I went in the kitchen
"I'll help you" Alex said and she followed me
"Can we make biscuits?" Jason said with puppy dog eyes
"Jason, don't bother Glen. We are guests in his house and you have to eat whatever he cooks!" Alex said with authority in her voice
"Don't be a bad girl Alex! Sure we can cook biscuits Jason!" I said smiling at him and he started bouncing all over the room. I loved that kid. He was always happy and cheerful
"Glen, seriously, you don't have to do that" Alex said looking at me
"I want biscuits too. So we'll make them and you two are going to help me" I said as I took all the ingredients we needed.
Once we were ready we started putting the ingredients all together.
Jason was sat on the chair looking at Alex who was kneading the dough. She did a mess with herself. She had her t-shirt full of flour her hair which was gathered in a messy bun.
"Do you want me to do it?" I asked her as I saw her struggling with the dough.
"No, I can do that" she said. It was funny seeing her trying to mix the ingredients but she ended up with a bit of dough stuck on her hand
"You should put some flour on both your hands and on the dough so it won't stick" I said
"Let me help you" and I put some flour on her hands. And I put a little on her nose too
"Hey!" she said "I'm full of flour already. There's no need from you to put more of it on me" she said
Jason laughed at her response and so did I.
"Why are you laughing? Because I'm a mess? Well, you're going to be a mess too" she said and then she threw flour at both Jason and me
I couldn't see anything because of the flour on my eyes. I just knew that Alex was laughing .
Next thing I knew was that it became a flour battle. Jason, Alex and me were yelling and running through the kitchen and we were throwing flour at each other.
"What the hell is happening here?" we turned around and we saw Cole looking at us with his arms crossed
"The kitchen is a mess guys!" he added "Stop it and clean this mess before mum and dad come back home!" he said and then he went away
Alex looked at me with confusion in her eyes. She was expecting from Cole to get angry, but he wasn't the kind of person who gets angry for stupid things. He just reacted quietly because when he was younger he did those things as well.
"Let's clean all this guys" I said.
After about an hour the kitchen was like before . We finished making the biscuits and we put them in the oven.
It was a very stressful day but we had fun and I liked spending time with Alex and his brother. She was one of my best friends, even if I wanted more. But I realized that what was happening when we fell, it would have been wrong and I didn't know if Alex had noticed what I was doing. Maybe it was the best for Jason to come in at the right moment and stopped me from kissing her and doing a bullshit.
