ALEX'S POV
I couldn't believe what had just happened between Glen and me. I was so happy. Glen Power liked me.
We were walking hand in hand to his house where we would have had lunch with our families. I didn't know how we would have acted in front of them.
I snapped out of my thoughs and looked at Glen. He was smiling and I wondered why.
"What are you smiling at?" I asked
"I'm happy" he said
I felt blushing because in some way I knew the reason why he was happy. And I was glad it was me
that made him happy.
"Are we going to tell them?" he asked turning to me
"I don't know. Maybe when it comes the right time" I told him
"Okay. Whenever you want to beautiful" he said as he stood in front of me caressing my cheek.
His sweetness made my legs go weak.
I smiled at him and he kissed me on the forehead.
"Where are we going tonight?" I asked curiously
"It's a surprise" he replied smiling
"Awh come on tell me!"
He shook his head and I rolled my eyes
"You're such a teaser" I said annoyed.
He just laughed at my childness.
I could never be mad at him. He wanted to make me a surprise and I couldn't wait to find out where he was going to take me.
We arrived at his house and we got in. Nick and Cole were watching TV and Jason was sat on Cole's lap.
They got very close since they met and they were so cute together.
We went in the kitchen where my mum and Helen were talking while cooking.
"They seem pretty close. I won't be surprised if they go together" Helen smiled
"Yeah, something changes when Alex is with Glen. She's more... Well, she's herself with him" my
mum added
I looked at Glen. He was blushing and his eyes were wide.
Well, listening to our mums talking about us like we were a couple was... very awkward.
"I like them together" My mum said
What?!
"Yeah, me too" Nicole said
And in that moment I realized I had got enough and I entered the kitchen
"Hello" I said trying to act normally
Then Glen entered the room too
"Where have you two been?!" my mum asked
"We went-" I managed to say but Glen interrupted me
"In my bedroom"
And then I remembered... He was grounded. For God's sake Alex! Think before speaking!
"Um, yeah. We just stayed there" I added quickly.
"Good, because the lunch is nearly ready" Helen said
"Okay... We're going to.... Washing our hands" Glen said taking my hand and we exited the room.
He lead me to his bedroom
"Sorry. I completely forgot you've been grounded" I said looking at him apologetically
"It doens't matter" he said
And then an awkward silence filled the room. I was looking at the ground and so was Glen.
"Did you hear them?" we asked at the same time.
We stifled a laugh
"They would be happy if we... You know" he said scratching the back of his neck
"Mhmh" I murmured embarrassed. I really didn't know what to say
"Guys! The lunch is ready!" Helen yelled from downstairs
I was glad she interrupted us because I was pretty embarrassed.
We went downstairs and we found everybody sat around the table
waiting for us.
We joined them and we had lunch

After lunch my mum, Jason and I packed our things and we moved in our house again.
Jason and I had been good in their house but for the first time when I entered my house it felt like I was really at home.
Once we arranged our stuffs, I decided to talk to my mum about Glen.
I was going out tonight and I needed some advice. I could have always called Amy but I didn't want to bother her. I would have called her after the date.
I was in my room and I was ready to go downstairs for talking to my mum when there was a knock on
the door.
"Alex it's me" my mum's voice came from outside my room.
"Come in"
She entered the room with a smile on her face. She closed the door behind her and sat on my bed.
My mum rarely came in my room. It was just for important things. And that seemed pretty important.
I joined her on the bed crossing my legs.
She was keeping her gaze on me, looking at every move I made.
"Mum?" I questioned since she didn't speak.
"You heard us, didn't you?" she said putting her hand on my thigh.
"What are you talking about?" I asked pretty confused.
"Mine and Helen's conversation in the kitchen. I know you and Glen heard it" she said smiling
"And?"
"We see how you two look at each other Alex... You seem... Different when you're with him"
I looked at the ground embarrassed.
My mum and I had never had a conversation about guys since I've never liked one before.
"I-I love him mum" I said. Yes, I loved Glen. I knew it was too soon but I couldn't help it.
"I know... And I know he isn't just a crush for you" she said. I was glad that my mum understood how I felt towards him.
"And he said he liked me" I whispered smiling
"Did he tell you that?" my mum said, a smile tugging into her lips
I nodded.
"Oh my God! I'm so happy!" she said jumping off the bed and clapping her hands.
My mum could be very weird sometimes and that's why I loved her so much!
I laughed at her childness and I shook my head.
"We're going out tonight" she
stopped and her eyes went wide.
Suddenly she opened my closet and started messing up with my clothes.
"Mum! What are you doing?" I said getting off the bed
"I'm going to make you look like a princess tonight"
