Third Person POV
Mizuki is currently finishing up decorating a cake when her phone rang. She answered her phone and put it on speaker.
"Hello?", she answered.
"Hey.", it was Shirabu's voice.
"Oh, hi, Kenjirou-senpai!", she greeted.
"Haha, very cute.", he said in a sarcastic tone. Mizuki chuckled and continued decorating the cake.
"So what's up? Why'd you call?", she asked.
"Can you come over today? I need help studying for my entrance exam.", he asked.
"Aww, you need my notes style again?", she chuckled.
"Yes, I do. So, can you?", he asked.
"Aww, I'm sorry Ken-ken, but today is me and Kei's first anniversary! I'll be busy. I'm actually decorating a cake right now! Here I'll send you a pic.", she answered, taking a picture of the cake and sending it to Shirabu.
"Oh, I see. It looks good.", he just replied.
"Maybe next time, I can help. I'm just very busy these days.", she sighed.
"It's okay. Just go to your dumb date with your boyfriend.", he commented.
"No need to be bitter, Kenjirou. I'm so sorry, maybe I can go next week?", she asked.
"No, it's okay. Thanks anyways. Enjoy your day.", he replied.
"Okay, thanks Kenjirou. Good luck!", she said.
"Thanks, bye.", he replied.
"Bye!", Mizuki said and Shirabu ended the call.
Mizuki finished decorating the cake and she placed it in the fridge to chill. She took a shower, dried her hair and dressed up for the big day. She wore a cream long sleeved shirt, a beige plaid miniskirt, and a long dark brown vest that reaches down to her knees. She kept it open but put a black belt around her waist to keep her figure. She tied her hair in a high ponytail and wrapped a beige ribbon around it. She wore some gold earrings, the moon necklace, her ring, and a pair of brown boots to keep her feet warm.
After packing up her gifts and the cake, she headed off to the Tsukishima's. She was excited, wondering what Kei planned for their anniversary.
She was happy that they already hit a year together, she felt as if it was only yesterday when he confessed to her on the rooftop during sunset. The memory was still vivid to her and she's very excited to spend the day with Kei. They don't get to spend as much time together as they did before so Mizuki was looking forward to their entire day.
She exit her house, carrying the present she got for him. She happily skipped towards his house, humming a joyful tune. When she got to their house, she knocked on the door and Maiko let her in.
"Hi Mimi! You seem excited for your anniversary, you're practically glowing!", she greeted her with a hug.
"Hi Oba-san! Is Kei in his room?", Mizuki asked excitedly.
"He is! You should surprise him, I think he just woke up.", Maiko answered.
Mizuki nodded and ran up to his room. When she got to the door, she took a deep breath and knocked.
"Come in.", she heard his voice from inside.
When she opened the door, she saw Kei studying. Kei looked at her and his eyes widened.
"Oh, you're here.", he said.
"Why are you studying so early?", she asked.
"Ah, I'm doing advanced reading.", he answered.
