Chapter 26: Affection and Attention

Mizuki's POV

We entered the clubroom and saw that the two are already setting up their books and notes on the table. We sat down beside each other so he could start teaching the two.

I hugged my knees and just silently sulked.

But after a while, I wanted to cling to Kei. So I moved behind him, kneeled and wrapped my arms around his neck to hug him.

He didn't do anything and just let me do what I want with him. After a while, my knees hurt so I let him go, sat beside him and lied down, resting my head on his lap.

He looked down at me and played with my hair while teaching the two.

After a few minutes, I got tired of that, so I sat up and went behind him again. I wrapped my arms around his torso and my legs around his waist.

He then just played with my socks and ankle. I stayed like that for a few minutes.

After that, I let him go again and sat beside him.

"Don't move around too much.", he complained, looking at me.

I furrowed my eyebrows, pouted and looked down. He sighed and carried me in between his legs, facing him. He buried my head in his chest, hugging me tightly.

Oh, this is the most comfortable position. I leaned comfortably on his chest, sighing in content. I could sleep in here, this is so warm and soothing.

Every minute, he either kisses the top of my head, play with my hand, play with my ear, play with my hair or hug me tightly again.

After a while, I heard the door open.

"Have you guys seen Mizuki?", I heard Yachi ask.

Hinata and Kageyama pointed at me but since Kei is turning his back from the door, Yachi thought they were pointing at Kei. I heard footsteps so I assumed she was walking towards us.

"Aww. I know she's in Tsukishima's heart but seriously, I need to-- AH!", she shrieked. "M-Mizuki? What are you doing there?", she asked. I looked back at her with a poker face.

"I'm giving her both affection and attention while she's sulking and fighting with her period.", Kei answered and I slowly nodded.

"Sulking? Why?", Yachi asked.

"We were supposed to have our first movie night. She already planned some stuff but these two idiots needed help to pass the math long quiz or else they won't be able to play at the festival.", Kei explained and I slowly nodded again.

"Oh, I can help them instead, you can have your first movie night.", Yachi smiled.

"That's what I told her, but she refuses to.", Kei answered.

"Helping Hinata and Kageyama pass this math quiz is a two person job. We'll stay.", I replied.

"Now she's sulking because we have less time, but she still wants to stay so I could help.", he said.

"Her period and real self is fighting.", Yachi chuckled while I just pout.

"Anyways, why are you looking for me?", I asked.

"Costume design for the cheer dancers.", she answered.

"Okay, I'll talk to Haruka when I get home.", I replied.

"Just go home already.", Kei looked at me. I looked up at him with an annoyed expression.

"No!", I pouted cutely and he looked at me with a poker face.
