Mizuki's POV
After eating Takoyaki, we decided to play games instead of going to tbe rides. Probably because we know I'll throw up again. The rollercoaster seems fun though, so that's the ride we'll try at the end of our date, along with the ferris wheel.
I pulled Kei to a shooting game nearby though he was against it.
"This is for kids.", he complained.
"Are you still in your rowdy teenage years where you think every single thing is lame and you're all emo and stuff?", I asked, putting my hands on my hips.
"...", he looked away.
"When you grow up, you'll never get the chance to loosen up and vent out like this. Now come on sassy pants, let's play!", I pulled him, this time he didn't whine.
I payed for two turns and we both held our water guns. Kei tried to turn it around and sighed.
"I wish I could splash this is your face but it doesn't turn that far.", he teased.
I turned my gun towards him and his eyes widened. He quickly ducked down to avoid the range. I laughed and put the gun down while he glares at me.
"Come on, let's play!", I pulled him up.
He looked at the prizes and eyes the one I wanted.
"You want the white koala don't you?", he asked.
"Yes, it's very cute! I also want the blue spotted dinosaur for you." I pointed.
"The dinosaur you gave me is good enough. I don't need another one.", he aimed at the clown's mouth and started to shoot water.
"Aww, but it'll give life to your room! And so that Sujo wouldn't be lonely!", I chuckled, also aiming at the clown's mouth.
"Stop giving him names.", he chuckled.
"Sujo is his only name.", I smiled.
"Why another koala?", he asked.
"So that Kuri won't be alone!", I answered, talking about the pink koala Akaashi got me.
"You and your stuffed toy names.", he muttered with a smile.
I successfully filled up the balloon so I cheered.
"The white koala please!", I pointed.
"That's not how it works, you have to make the balloon pop, not fill it up.", the seller said.
"Oh.", my smile disappeared in disappointment.
I knew this guy acted coy and suspicious. I should've known this was a scam. It also looked like no one has won anything yet, the stall was filled of stuffed toys.
"How can she fill it up when the top of the balloon is blocked by that wood plank? And it's impossible to pop since the gun is just keeping the water in, not actually filling it up at that stage. What kind of trick is this?", Kei asked.
"That's how it works.", the seller shrugged and smirked, looking at other customers.
"Aww.", I pouted, looking at the koala stuffed toy.
"One more.", Kei said, putting money on the desk.
"But Kei, this is--", I was supposed to object since the mechanics are cheating but he cut me off.
"I'll get that koala.", he said.
He aimed at the balloon instead of the clown's mouth. He took his time in making sure it was spot on. He then shooted once and it popped.
