Mizuki's POV
We all boarded the bus after loading it with all the necessary things. And even though Karasuno only has a few supporters who will cheer for them, I still brought my big guns.
The banners.
And also, my father wanted to support the Volleyball team so he made sandwiches and snacks for us, which made us all happy, especially me because he took the effort to make these just because he wanted to support us.
I sat down on my usual seat, checking for the 7th time if I brought ALL the banners. Even the "Fly" banner was assigned and entrusted to me.
"Hinata, Kageyama, Tsukki, Yams...", I said, checking the banners for the 7th time.
"Mizuki-chan, you checked that several times, calm down.", Tadashi said.
"Okay, okay, one last time.", I chuckled and checked again.
"You said that 4 checks ago.", Tsukishima said.
"I need to have 14 banners in all. The fly, new, Daichi, Suga, Asahi, Noya, Tanaka, Enno, Kino, Nari, Hinata, Kageyama, Tsukki, Yams. Okay, I'm good.", I let go of the bag and sat properly.
"It was nice of your father to pack us snacks, make sure to say our thanks to him when you get home.", Daichi said.
"I will!", I answered cheerfully and proudly.
After a few minutes, we arrived at Sendai City Gymnasium. Everyone has their game face on, and we can all feel the fire inside us.
We're gonna win this.
Hinata ran excitedly, but of course, Kageyama had to chase him for their usual race. But Hinata stopped when he saw that Terushima Yuji guy from Johzenji. It's the first team they're competing against. Terushima spoke and looked at us. I was beside Kiyoko and the other guys were behind us.
"Hey, glasses-chan! Can I have your number now?", Terushima called, moving Hinata's head out of the way and waved at Kiyoko. Kiyoko looked away, making him speak more. "Aww, you're so cute when you're shy! Oh, purple haired girl, remember me? You're prettier when you have no glasses!", Terushima waved at me and I looked away too. "You're so cute when you blush!", he shouted.
Nishinoya and Tanaka got fired up because of the blondie hitting on their managers. They charged at them but a girl, which I assume is their manager, pushed Terushima and bowed to them. Making Noya and Ryu stop in mid-air.
"Woah they stopped.", Tadashi said.
"They're frozen in mid-air, that's awesome.", Tsukishima added.
We all entered the building and signed up first before going to the waiting area for the teams. I put down all our things and decided to get a drink first, preferably coffee so I get more energy. I asked permission to Kiyoko first before going on ahead. I know Sendai City Gymnasium pretty well so I know where the vending machines are. I watch the Qualifying Rounds every year to support Shiratorizawa. But this year, I'm cheering for Karasuno, of course.
I turned around the corner but bumped into someone, because of my train of thought. I fell down and looked up.
From Aoba Johsai? It's Oikawa Toruu, their captain, and Iwaizumi Hajime, their ace.
"You're not looking at where you're going!", Iwaizumi smacked Oikawa in the head, then helped me up, reaching his hand out to me. I took his hand and stood up.
"Ow! Iwa...", Oikawa whined.
"It's okay, I wasn't looking either.", I chuckled.
"Oh, it's you. You used to come to the qualifying rounds every year for Shiratorizawa.", Oikawa said, almost annoyed.
