Third Person POV

Morning came shortly, and so did noon. Since they slept late, they woke up at 11am. It's almost time for lunch.

Kei woke up first and he was surprised that he was on the bed. He stared at Mizuki who was still sleeping.

How did I get here? He thought.

He looked at the clock and his eyes widened at how late it was.

But he didn't care.

So he sighed and closed his eyes again, hugging Mizuki. Suddenly, a knock was heard.

"Ms. Mizuki? Mr. Kei? Are you awake? It's time for lunch.", one of the maids said.

"We are.", Kei just replied.

He sighed and looked at Mizuki who was slowly opening her eyes. She groggily looked up at Kei and yawned.

Kei's heart skipped a beat. She looked like a puppy!

"Good morning.", she mumbled, unclear.

"Good noon, actually.", he corrected.

She opened her eyes and sat up, looking at the clock. Her eyes also widened at how late it was.

But she also didn't care.

She lied down and cuddled with Kei. He chuckled at how similar their reactions were.

"How did I get in here?", he asked.

"...where?", she asked, still half asleep.

"On your bed.", he answered.

"I carried you on my back.", she yawned.

"You sure you didn't drag me?", he asked.

"You would've woken up if I did.", she replied.

"How the...", he mumbled, he couldn't believe she had the strength to carry a guy that's twice as heavy as she was.

Mizuki didn't reply and just closed her eyes. Kei sat up and stretched.

"Let's go have lunch.", he said.

Mizuki whined and curled into a ball. Kei chuckled at how adorable she was. She's like a stubborn cat.

"Mizuki.", he called in a stern voice.

Mizuki gave him a side eye and a pout. Kei hovered over her and ran his fingers through her hair.

"Come on, your father might be looking for you.", he whispered softly.

Mizuki sighed and nodded.

"Stubborn as a mule.", he jokingly complained, sitting up.

Mizuki sat up and stretched too. She stood up and Kei followed her. She tied her hair into a messy bun and wore a pink cotton headband.

"Wear this. It's cute.", she told Kei, giving him a blue cotton headband.

"No, it's stupid.", he refused.

Mizuki squinted her eyes at him. She was still half asleep and was being random. Kei sighed and snatched the headband from her.

"Fine, stop glaring at me.", he sighed, wearing the headband.

"Cute!", she exclaimed, hugging him from behind.
