Chapter 68: Let's go to the Beach

I have great news (depends), the beach arc of this book is here, and it is L O N G af. As in, 8-10, maybe 12 chapters or even more.

BECAUSE!

1. They're staying there for 4 days. It's a loooooong trip in that island AND COME ON, IT'S VACATION, I have to make it long.

2. THERE'S SO MANY OF THEM. I don't want any character to feel left out so I want them all to do something. Originally, I planned for Saeko, Akiteru, Takenoue, Shimada, Keishin, and Takeda to also be there, BUT I realized that they're adults amongst kids and I feel like since there's adult supervision, realistically they would feel restrained from being chaotic. Like, Tanaka doesn't even shout around Saeko. And I can't take anymore characters to narrate huhu.

3. I need to be able to explore and share their interests correctly. You know, some details like Nishinoya's love for fishing, Kuroo's love for seafood, Hinata taking interest in beach Volleyball, and more. I really want this opportunity to show their character in both canon and fanon to balance it out cuz it's fun that way, and I think it would be really enjoyable for you all (hopefully).

4. They're not gonna play Volleyball the whole time. I know they're Volleyball addicts but it won't be filled with Volleyball matches and stuff. I want to give them really fun things to do like idk, Oikawa and Kuroo catching hermit crabs as if they're Pokemon and making them fight or something.

I hope you understand all of my points and if it's not your preference, don't worry because you're gonna have fun anyways ;))

I also think it would be fun to put in my personal Haikyuu headcanons TO SEE IF SOME PEOPLE ACTUALLY AGREE WITH WHAT I'M THINKING. Tell me if you see them doing those headcanons =w=

I also added some real fun facts about each character that you may or may not know! Things like what they like and dislike, their favorite foods, their interests and such.

This is the longest segment in this book that I've made so far so I hope it's worth it.

So because of these reasons, whether you like it or not, WE'RE IN FOR A LONG RIDE, BOYS.

Third Person POV

Tsukishima yawned loudly and relaxed himself in his seat.

"Why do we have to leave so early?", he complained, pulling Mizuki to his chest to hug her.

"I told you that I'll go here myself! You insisted on coming with me and now you're complaining?", Mizuki asked.

"Ugh, stop nagging.", he complained again, admitting his defeat.

Mizuki sighed and caressed his hand softly.

Today is the most awaited day of the summer. Mizuki invited most of her friends to go to the beach. They're heading to Okinawa, a prefecture located in the southern part of Japan, in the Ryukyu Islands.

They're gonna pick up Karasuno first, then Aoba Johsai, then Nekoma and Fukurodani. The Shiratorizawa boys are already in Okinawa. They insisted on helping Mizuki with the preparations ahead, so they went there a day in advance to also assist Kenta.

It's 3:00 in the morning, Mizuki went to the Sanders mansion herself to pick up the bus they'll be using. And Tsukishima insisted on coming with her for company.

But now, he's complaining that he's sleepy. It's because he stayed up watching Jurassic Park last night, like how he intended his summer vacation is gonna go.
