Chapter 37: Once in a Blue Moon

Third Person POV

The encore finished and everyone was currently leaving the gymnasium while a few stayed to take pictures with Mizuki and Tsukishima.

The gymnasium was being cleaned by the 2nd year juniors, preparing it for the sports games later on.

"MII-CHAAAAAN!", Bokuto shouted, the four running towards Mizuki.

She smiled and ran towards her brothers. The four froze in place as Mizuki hugged them.

She looks better up close... They thought.

"How did you get here? Did you cut classes?", Mizuki asked, letting them go.

Suddenly, Bokuto and Kuroo started crying. Again.

"M-Mii-chan... YOU'RE SO PRETTY!", Bokuto and Kuroo sobbed, hugging her again. Mizuki chuckled and hugged them back.

No joke, those tears are real.

They were crying at how beautiful she looked. Mizuki let go of them and faced a red faced Akaashi. He looked at her from top to bottom, then fiddled with his fingers, not knowing what to do.

Mizuki laughed and jumped for a hug, putting her arms around his neck. Akaashi smiled and hugged her back, now keeping calm.

"Can you answer my questions?", she asked.

"We didn't sneak out. Bokuto-san begged coach, he even cried to him. Kuroo-san made up as excuse to let him and Kenma go.", he answered while letting go of her.

"What kind of excuse?", she asked.

"Dead relative.", Akaashi answered.

Then Mizuki glared at Kuroo and Bokuto.

"We'll do everything as long as we get to see you like this!", Bokuto defended.

Mizuki sighed and shook her head with a smile.

"HEY HEY HEY TSUKKI!", Bokuto shouted, waving at Tsukishima.

Tsukishima sighed and walked towards them, standing beside Mizuki. Kuroo, Bokuto and Akaashi greeted him, then mocked him about being sweet.

Meanwhile, Mizuki approached Kenma who is stone cold frozen, seeing her.

"Kenmaaa.", she hugged him tightly, then let him go when she noticed he wasn't hugging back. "Kenma?", she called.

Kenma looked down with pink cheeks. He clenched his fists and hesitantly looked at Mizuki.

"You look pretty.", he mumbled, then looked down again.

Mizuki almost died seeing how adorable Kenma was. Her eyes were sparkling and she was smiling widely.

"You're adorable!", she exclaimed, holding his hands.

"A-aren't you cold?", he asked in concern, taking off his jacket. He placed it on Mizuki's shoulder, making sure it wasn't exposed.

"Thanks. By the way, I have good news for you.", Mizuki said, smiling excitedly.

"What is it?", he asked, making a small smile. He was falling in love with her eyes again.

"We get to hang out next week. I'm thinking of playing games all night and ordering pizza at your place or mine!", she jumped excitedly, skipping the important part.

"What do you mean?", Kenma asked.

But Hinata, Kageyama, Yamaguchi, Yachi and Haruka got out of the back stage carrying a few stuff and they saw Bokuto, Kuroo, Akaashi and the others.
