Tsukishima's POV

I woke up when the sun shine from the window hit my face. I opened my eyes and groaned, looking to my side.

I expected Mizuki to be there, cuddling against me, but she wasn't.

I blinked a few times and sat up. My room looked a bit different, my dinosaur stuffed toy is no where to be seen. My dinosaur figurines are back where I left them.

Did Mizuki put it back? I thought she would keep it for a week.

I took my glasses from my empty nightstand. Wait. Empty? Where's our picture? I looked around and saw that my desk doesn't have any pictures of me and Mizuki.

I stood up and looked at my closet. Oh, there's the dinosaur stuffed toy. I picked it up, but it was dusty. I checked the other drawers.

Mizuki's clothes isn't here. I looked around the room again. It looked exactly what it looked like before I met Mizuki.

Is she pulling a prank on me? I can't believe it. I just poured my heart out to her last night and now she's pranking me.

I sighed and exit my room to find her. I walked downstairs and saw my mom cooking breakfast.

"Where's Mizuki?", I asked.

She looked at me in confusion, her eyes were mixed with sadness, disappointment and anger.

"Why are you looking for your ex?", she asked.

...

"Ex?", I asked.

Did I hear that wrong? We didn't break up, what is she talking about? Is this part of the prank?

"Why do you look so confused? You were the one who broke up with her.", she said.

"W-we didn't break up!", I replied.

"What are you talking about? She's been gone for weeks, why look for her now?", she asked.

"What? Where is she?", I asked.

"She's in New York. I'm not surprised that she went that far. After all, you called her suffocating.", she sighed in disappointment.

"I DIDN'T! SHE WAS WITH ME LAST NIGHT!", I shouted in confusion.

I never called her that. I would never. If ever, I'm desperate for her love, she's not suffocating at all.

"She left a month ago, are you brain dead? I told you everything she told me, and you didn't even listen, you said you didn't care. So why are you looking for her now?", she asked.

I felt my heart being pierced with every word she says. That never happened, so what is this?

Without thinking about it, I instinctively ran to the door and outside. I ran towards her house as fast as I could.

I saw Oji-san's car parked at the front. I felt relieved so I ran towards the door and rang the doorbell. It was opened by Oji-san.

"Kei?", he asked.

"Is Mizuki here?", I asked, panting.

He sighed and looked at me in disappointment too.

"This isn't funny.", he said.

"Where is she?", I asked, feeling tears in my eyes.
